You won't believe you are still in Kansas! C2T Ranch is a working regenerative cattle ranch, with over 4 miles of Saline River running through it. Amazing 150' tall limestone cliffs rise above river and several spring fed creeks feed into the river. There is hiking galore in the canyons or on the cliffs, fishing in the rivers, or bird watching on the native prairie above the cliffs. Fossil hunters can find a variety of fossilized shells, as well as native septarian and calcite for the rockhounds. Our picturesque, secluded campground has primitive and powered campsites, plus several glamping tent, all dispersed along an amazing horseshoe bend of the Saline River, each with direct river access. We're only a 20 minute drive north of Hays, Kansas and I-70, come visit us today!

This place is serene. The camp spots are spread out,so it literally feels as though you're the only ones there!! Beautiful views. We would definitely return!!!! If anyone has allergies to cedar trees, it's not the place for you.

Chad and Cynthia’s land is so beautiful! They truly have a special place. There is a peaceful vibe when you walk around and the spacing of the sites is really appreciated. It was great to let our puppy Bo off leash, he had such a blast exploring and meeting their dog and their donkey. We ordered our dinner from them, amazing burgers (their own) complete with rolls and condiments, along with the best potatoes, all delivered to our site from Cynthia. We also ordered the delicious cinnamon buns which we enjoyed the next day, and are still enjoying! We have been traveling across the country for 5 weeks now and this is our favorite stay! They truly are great hosts!

A Very Special Place
13 ft travel trailer ·
A fantastic campground! I’ve been multiple times now and it is my go-to if I’m traveling I-70. The complete silence and sky filled with stars makes this place magical for me. The towering limestone bluffs to the east, just across the river, make for a beautiful view. The fire pits are proper pits made with the proper -sized blocks of limestone. The firewood is well-seasoned and Chad leaves an ample amount. The campsites are far apart and private. The camping area is mowed and clean. The sites have such level spots, I’ve never had to unhook my teardrop camper. If you’re lucky, they’ll be water in the Salida River flowing just yards from your campsite. And for the special touch, you might get a visit from the campground’s gentle Labrador, Abby. 🐕❤️

If you want solitude, peace and quiet, this is the place for you! The campsite was well kept and Chad brought a small pile of firewood for the campfire. There are receptacles for 30 amp and 50 amp service and a couple 120 volt outlets on the pedestal, along with a water hydrant next to it. The pressure is only 20 psi (per our gauge), but it was not an issue. The pictures of the cliffs do not do justice to how beautiful they are. The water is down a small embankment, right next to the campsite. We recommend Chad and Cynthia's, and will be back for another visit! -Chris & Jerri

Absolutely a must visit!!
So far this has been my favorite campsite that I’ve found on HipCamp. If you’re anywhere near this ranch, I highly recommend. Also, you have to try the zucchini bread!! The site I chose was very private and relaxing. The stars were out on full display, the river running just enough for your personal sound machine and the wildlife is everywhere, if you look. I’ll be back with my kids to do a longer stay next time.
