When my plans changed and I needed to book a local campsite very last minute, this was the perfect stop to sleep for a night. Host was nice and the place was quiet.
The property is beautiful! I would recommend coming here if you have a camper or something self-contained. If you are tenting and decide to pay extra to use the toilet, it is actually inside the house, which seems to be a rooming house for young men. They were all very friendly but it was not what we expected, and as women, we were a little on edge after realizing the situation. It was all totally fine and beautiful, and a convenient location for our trip, but not exactly what we were anticipating.
If you’re looking for a quiet spot that is conveniently located, this is it. It feels like you’re much further out of town but in reality you’re still near downtown. The host, Makuve, is welcoming and extremely helpful but if you want your privacy you’ve got that too.
I don't think I would go back. High grass, mud, and hills. Not good for motorcycles. left n got a hotel instead. Not set up like other hip camps.
