Boondock Ridge
A must try and then come back again
This was a great 2 tier campsite with a large grassy area for tents, a nice cedar outhouse and a view of the River with a large firepit
There is a lower tier as well that has a dock for some river fun, a 2nd fire pit and a fresh spring to get delicious cold water from.
We had a great stay even with tough weather.
The only downside was the road noise could get noisy sometimes, but that is nothing the host can control and it really was a non. Issue.
If you like rustic camping and a private large site you must check this gem out.

Go ahead, make my stay…
After reading the reviews and looking aunt the pictures my son and I had pretty high expectations and were not disappointed. The campsite is beyond spacious, your whole tribe could easily bivouac there and he e room to spare. Of course any overflow guests can stay at the second sight down by the creek, where they can enjoy a campfire at the second fire ring and a cool drink from the artesian well…The view is great, the use of a nice section of river to yourself AND brook trout, it doesn’t get much better than this. The use of a compost toilet is brilliant, so much better than a stinking pit. Honestly it is the best outhouse I’ve ever had the privilege to use. The site is meticulously cared for and prepared. I recommend that guests take the option to order the firewood. The amount is generous, the wood is dry split and covered, ready to go. Bonus, go to the little local Woodlands Dinner awesome food and pies!!

Our 3rd time here and We had such an amazing time! You have an amazing view! Very well maintained and clean. We love the stream and so did my dog. We will a 100 percent camp here again in the future and I've shared with all my friends where to go!

Awesome Property
What a great piece of property Nick and Teresa have! We loved the wide open space up on the ridge as well as the private dock on the river! Host immediately responded when I had a question. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway!

Large Open Space Camping
The site is absolutely amazing! I think we are now spoiled and it will be hard to stay in a regular campground with other people! There were six of us with our five dogs and we all had a terrific time. The river was a blessing on our hot Saturday and the running water was a game changer for "primitive" camping. Advice for future campers at this site...BUG (tick) SPRAY!!
