Rustic Camping at its Finest
My experience at Joe’s Campground was great. I stayed in site #5 which is toward the back of the property. This campground is very private and sites are very spread out which is a huge plus. It was bit chilly in the evenings so I appreciated the abundant dry firewood and quality fire pits and picnic table that my camp was stocked with. The site itself was in great condition with new wood chips providing a nice base under my tent.
There is a well toward the back of the property which provided water for showering, cleaning, etc.
My daughter attends Interlochen Arts Academy which is about 10 minutes away and this is a super convenient place to camp if you are visiting Interlochen Center for the Arts.
