Rasset Family Farm
This is where the word "bucolic" comes from! Our hosts were lovely and welcoming while also giving us our space. It was a beautiful setting with the open fields, the cows and many bird songs to greet us in the morning. (I think we collected 20 on our Merlin birdsong app.)

Farm land
The farm is very peaceful and quiet…not even a morning rooster crowing! We stayed here because it was a the closest we could get to families in Minneapolis on our very short notice., and it worked well. 45 minute drive to the city and some fun little towns in between. We would return.

We had a great time despite the weather! Great quiet land and Sarah’s family was so nice, our kids loved playing with there’s and enjoying a fire together. We will definitely be back!

Barn RV Site
We stayed in our pickup camper to test if it was viable for winter camping and it went well. The site is right next to their barn at the bottom of a small hill. The owners were good about keeping the dirt road up the hill from the barn plowed each morning. As the snow melted, it was a bit muddy so be aware if mud is an issue for you. We threw our boots on and were fine. We were away most of the time during daylight hours so I can't speak to how quiet it is during the day time, but at night it was peaceful. They do have a little dog that roams loose at all times and likes to visit if it notices you out and about. We didn't have any issues and the site served us well.
