Great campsite

This campsite is on a quiet, beautiful, very well kept property. It is located away from the highway, but only minutes away from Columbia, Missouri. Amanda, the host, was friendly and very accommodating. The site was level and pet friendly. We will definitely use this campsite again.

Amanda has a great spot for travelers to feel secluded while still having the amenities they need. The lake and property were gorgeous and our dog loved the open space/swimming as well. Thanks Amanda!

Amanda’s Sanctuary was just what we needed after many days on the road. Her farm was easy to find and far enough away from town that you’d felt remote even though you were on minutes from civilization. Our spot was level with easy access to electricity and water hookups. The view in all directions was beautiful. Amanda came to greet us after we had settled in. She explained where the trails were on her property and encouraged us to stretch our legs and let our two dogs run free. Amanda shared eggs with us from her chickens. It was our first time in Missouri and we can’t wait to return.

This is the most accommodating, kind family and a really gorgeous property. Amanda and her family have mowed the most beautiful trails throughout their 30 acres and make you feel very, very at home. The pond is gorgeous and you can paddle boat if you wish. The site we were at is in view of their home but the home is very far off and they respect your privacy to the highest level. Loved visiting and relaxing here ... highly recommend!!!
