Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We are located just 10 minutes from Binda and 20 minutes from Crookwell. The region is popular for Gold Fossicking and the nearby town of Tuena provides the perfect backdrop to try your luck and see what you can find. Visit the old and unique Book Keepers Cottage which was built in 1861 and was used as a place to tally up gold before it was transported to its destination by horse drawn coach and armed escorts. Gum Gully offers a cleared slightly sloping field, surrounded by a Eucalyptus forest with plenty of beautiful flora and fauna, a creek and stunning mountain and sky views. Campfires are welcome in the area provided and your pets can come too, just make sure they are kept on a leash. Campers must be self sufficient with their own camping toilet and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
