Enjoy the seclusion & picturesque location of this idyllic location. The 7 acre camping area has spacious un-powered sites. Pitch your tent, set up your camper trailer or caravan next to the river. Easy accesses for swimming in the river, adjacent to the camping area. Bring your kayak, canoe, lilo, or inflatable boat & enjoy the rapids, or bring your fishing rod! Dogs under supervision are welcome - notification is required when booking, including the breed of dog and conditions, do apply. Long Flat Travellers Rest Hotel is one of Australia's original country pubs and is nestled on the banks of the beautiful Hastings River, is on the Oxley Highway in the picturesque village of Long Flat just 50km from Port Macquarie NSW.Long Flat Travellers Rest Hotel has 7 acres of riverside camp grounds. Perfect for swimming, fishing and fun sports. Only 45 mins away from Port Macquarie NSW.

Beautiful spot to pull up camp! Have the pub where you can have a feed and some drinks, then head down to the river for a swim

Easy to find. Great location. This was an amazing experience. So many options to swim! The whole camping area was bigger than expected. The pub was fantastic with lots of friendly people around. It was such a relaxed place to be. Can't wait until next time!

Had the best weekend, dinner was beautiful, best chicken Caesar salad. Hubby loved the pizza. Band playing at the pub. Water is crystal clear . Campsites are everywhere. Big brown snake swimming up the river. I’ll be back .

Great spot, we stayed on a Saturday night so the noise from the pub was really loud, nice too listen to but kept the kids awake 😁

Stinky toilets; bins overflowing; no shade; camping in a field; no facilities - nice to be able to swim in the river.
