Looking for a special place to getaway (while also having access to Wi-Fi) and unwind! You have found your own piece of Heaven in North Carolina. Nestled over 1,700ft elevation, amongst hundreds of evergreens Locals around the area call The Mountain spot less than a few hundred yards away "Heaven". This is truly a beautiful place to bring the kids, your fur- babies or honeymoon. There's a full kitchen and more amenities than we can list. Pan for gold, go fishing, hike, check out “heaven” on the hike up The Mountain about 1,000 feet to see golf course, Stone Mountain, Blue Ridge mountains all while setting in a 20-foot observation tower with shelter, fire pit and more. Check out local wineries, BBQ joints, and golf courses! There's so much to do around here, even though you're in the woods away from civilization, you're only a short 30 min drive for groceries. You'll be able to take a dip in the river, fish in the creeks (close to cabin) also right here on the property you can pan for gold, look for fossils, and enjoy this North Carolina retreat. We have many outside areas that guests are welcome to use, such as the much-loved private hot tub and fire pits, tetherball, cornhole, volleyball, badminton, basketball, horseshoes, small gun range MUST BE APPROVED BY OWNERS (targets $2) Lots of walking/hiking trails. From flat to very steep to OMG. Free Wi-Fi and Internet with over 100 MB. We love fur babies! Only house broke pets are allowed inside the house. We have a 10x10, 6 foot-high dog lot with an igloo House, beds and crates available if needed. Just let us know who you will be bringing with you and make sure to bring a leash. You MUST clean up after your pets!! We provide bags and a pooper scooper. Fresh Spring Water right here on the property so don't forget get your containers to take some home. We have charcoal and lighter fluid available to purchase right here on property.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was a perfect getaway weekend for my husband and I (and our dog). It was 20 degrees outside the nights we stayed, but the cabin was warm and cozy with everything we needed. We loved hiking up to the tower and having a campfire at night. The hot tub was the best part! Stone Mountain Park is a short drive away and is one of the best parks in N.C. highly recommend!!

Wonderful cute comfy cabin!

With kids

OK cabin was the best! We arrived just after hurricane Helene, power and water was out. We knew this in advance and chose to go anyway… our main plan was to be off the grid for a few days. Greg and Marsha worked really hard to make sure we were comfortable. The cabin is really cute and has everything you could possibly need. We cooked on our campfire and also used a black stone that they have available at a picnic shelter. Our kids camped in the yard just for fun. The beds are very comfy and the cabin very clean. Wi-Fi was good once we got power back! You don’t have to be off the grid unless you want to :-) We spent most of our time checking out the trails and creek. The kids loved the gun range and tried their hand at gold panning in the creek. There’s a cool tower at the top of the mountain to lookout from. Greg even picked up s’mores supplies for us from town. They could not have been more accommodating to our needs! I hope we can return!
