I had such an illuminating stay here. Between the wonderful host, delightful fellow camper and gorgeous marsh view, I left feeling lighter and looking forward to my next trip back! Aside from a bit of road noise, a visit here promises tranquility and reflection and the tree fort is a gorgeous place to wake up from.
This is a really great campsite right off the river, it has amazing views of the water as well as the night sky when the stars are out. The tent sites are laid out well and there is community cafe and a dock area for hanging out. I will definitely be going again. It is located very close to Harkers Island and the Beaufort waterfront for day trips.
Good wide spot near (within view but probably a 100 yards or so) from the main area with the well stocked kitchen and bathroom/shower. The nearby water/dock access was beautiful. Perfect overnight stop before getting on the ferry the next morning.
Awesome spot to get away! The shared deck was cool. Lots of amenities in case you forgot something. The little cafe was a chill spot to cook with a water view. Great layout and trails. Easy to find with stores close. Better than I expected! Paul was super hospitable and a cool dude as well. I’ll definitely be back!
