This campsite is perfect for someone with a small camper or tent but it’s not appropriate for a large tent or family. The stairs are in need of some repair for safety reasons as they were a bit rickety. I was impressed by the composting toilet, however, it faces a drop-off and is somewhat concerning to navigate at night. It’s also very close to the road. Overall though I really loved the area for tubing and hiking.

Tent
If you're looking for just a cheap place to stay in the area in a tent and fly fish, I think this is a good option. There's tubing available, a good number of hikes nearby, and it's relatively remote. With that said, you're right across the street from a house and the road is a little busier than I would have liked.
Otherwise, there is a canoe available, just bring your own oars! The bathroom which was a compost toilet in a tent worked fine but was also right next to the road.

Another great stay on the river! This was our second time here. Super convenient spot with a nice deck over the river to just chill on.

Fishing access
13 ft pop-up camper
Great riverside spot with access to fishing! Pam was a great hostess and despite the occasional passing car, the spot seemed fairly private.

Primitivate camping at its finest
Tent
I absolutely loved this spot. Very secluded yet only about 20 mins to stores and food. Lake lure/chimney rock is only 30 mins away. The tubing is so fun! This actually comes with a composting toilet too with privacy tent which was awesome. Would defiantly stay again!
