Our property sits in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. We live in a forest glade with a spring fed creek that runs the length of the property. Our property is 10 acres and we are surrounded with more than 300 acres of conservation property. We have lots of wildlife, including deer, turkey, all kinds of forest birds, bear, and other forest creatures. We are 15 minutes away from the Appalachian trail on top of Roan Mountain, we are located about an hours distance from both Asheville, North Carolina and Johnson City Tennessee. You can enjoy many hiking trails that are just minutes away.Enjoy camping without having to put up a tent. Come stay at our White Duck canvas walled tent. 16x24. The tent sits back into the woods, on a wooden platform with a little front porch with an outdoor table and two chairs. Everything you need for camping is provided. We have an air mattress with linens, a futon couch with linens, camping toilet, body wipes, toilet paper, dining kitchen table, small kitchenette with a camping propane stove, plates, cups, bowls, eating utensils, a propane buddy heater, a propane grill with utensils and a fire pit with chairs. We also provide fire pit wood. We have outdoor lighting that is solar powered. We also have lighting within the tent. The campsite is private a few minutes away from the main house. There is great cell phone reception. We are surrounded by many known mountain tops with hiking trails lots of sightseeing.
