Tent
We enjoyed camping here and would again in the future. We almost missed it when coming up to it, but didn't take long to figure out we were in the right spot. Area has become overgrown a bit, as it is with nature. So we couldn't set up too far back due to grass being too tall — I did cut some of it back with my hatchet to set up our tent spot. Plenty of rocky spots around to set up a good, safe campfire. There is a light at the house next to it, but it wasn't overly bright — acted as a nightlight. Traffic died down around 10pm and all we could hear then was the creek and nature.

Good place near Banner Elk
6 m Class C
This was a good place to spend the night. It was close to Banner Elk and all the sites near Grandfather mountain. At the time the water and electric did not work, but we were told ahead of time. It did have a sewer for dumping though. We had a stream nearby that helped cut the noise of the few cars that passed by. It had a little incline getting into the site. We are not low to the ground but if you are it might bottom out. The site was a good price and I would stay here again if in the area.
