What a spot!
Tent
We loved getting to camp on Richie’s land. Our pup loved the river access and meeting some friendly neighbor cows and horses. The deck to the A-Frame structure was an amazing addition! Would definitely recommend

Tranquil Escape: A-Frame Creek Camp
Tent · Group trip
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming campsite with an A-frame by a creek, surrounded by a grass field. It was a perfect getaway for me and my two friends. The location felt incredibly secluded and tranquil, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our host, Richie, was exceptional. He went out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Richie didn't just include toilet paper in the outhouse their were also wipes! It's the small details that go a long way. From providing us with all the necessary information to offering helpful tips on maximizing our experience, Richie's hospitality added to the overall experience. The A-frame accommodation was cozy and just the right size for our group. The air mattress provided a comfortable night's sleep, and the soothing sound of the nearby creek made for a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights was the campfire area, which allowed us to enjoy a classic camping experience. We spent the nights gathered around the campfire, roasting marshmallows, and bonding under the starry sky. If you've haven't seen the pure night sky this location is a real treat. The natural beauty of the surrounding area, with the creek babbling by and the open grass field, made this campsite a serene and picturesque setting. Overall, our stay at this campsite was a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and relaxation. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful camping retreat.

Private stream and mountain view
8 ft travel trailer · With pets
The road to the site was fine for us with an all wheel drive car pulling a teardrop camper, but a larger RV might not do it easily. The site is beside a lovely stream you can cool off in and the picnic tables and grill are in shade. It is 100% private with intermittent cell service, which we didn't mind. It is enclosed by an electric fence and by the stream, with some large holes on the stream side that you'll need to be careful not to fall into. The host is great. FYI he will require you to keep any dogs on leash, which we thought was reasonable. In the middle is a huge sand/dirt area with lots of tire tracks through it. Horses and cows visit outside the fence and are mostly wonderful, although you'll want to avoid setting up too close to the fence line as you can really smell the cow patties. The outhouse is not smelly or buggy, but be prepared that the door is just a screen (no privacy) and there are no spare rolls of toilet paper. The toilet seat is also higher off the floor than a standard toilet. The A-frame itself is nice, ideal for people comfortable with a short climb up a ladder, with a lovely view of the mountains, though hot when the late afternoon sun comes straight in. We tried to relax and read on the provided air mattress and ended up having to deflate it and lie on the floor -- it wouldn't pump up firm enough to lie on -- but that didn't bother us as we had our camper for actual sleeping. Overall, great site if these details fit your plans/expectations.

Just what the doctor ordered
Tent
One of the best last minute decisions I have ever made! We thoroughly enjoyed the secluded landscape, the A-frame, hammocks, fire pit, the babbling creek, mountains in the distance, the precious horses and cows with their calves. The list could go on. I mean how can you go wrong with any of that! Richie was very helpful and had fast responses to our messages. We didn’t want to leave. Such a peaceful place and will definitely be going back. Highly recommend staying at this site!

An ‘A’ plus!
Tent
A private, relaxing spot with beautiful views and animals. Richie was very responsive and helped us get our air mattress inflated when our fuse when out. Couldn’t recommend this spot more!

rest and reset in an A frame
If you’re searching for a great place to rest and reset, A-frame mountain view camp by the river would be a great choice. This Hipcamp is 100% relaxed vibes. After you drive through the wooded entrance, and the following horse pasture, the A-frame structure and colorful hammocks sharpen into view. My husband and I loved the peaceful simplicity of this Hipcamp. Aside from the very neat, screened-in A-frame (the central focus of the Hipcamp) and four hammocks that beckon you to take a load off, we found a well-maintained outhouse, nice grill, picnic table, and gently flowing stream. There were also horse-shoes and cornhole boards. The grounds of Streamside A-Frame feel very private. Horses grazed in an adjacent pasture, and mountains were seen far off in the distance. Wild blackberries grew near the woody margins of the property. For a quiet location and a beautiful environment, A-frame mountain view camp by the river is a wonderful choice. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and would stay here again.
