Our Spa and Geodesic Dome Planetarium is now available for booking! We are a constantly evolving location. Our goal is to provide a genuine secluded camping experience immersed in nature in a mountainous forest with privacy and well spaced out, secluded camp sites. We also have minimal light pollution, so our skies are beautiful for viewing the stars. We offer trails through natural wooded habitat with hidden gems of nature. Wildlife viewing throughout. There are feed locations to increase viewing opportunities. A creek on the property is lovely for walking. Centered between Charlotte and Asheville we are within your reach! We offer primitive tent camping, Glamping Tents and a Cabin. Glamping and cabin have a private Mountain View, fire pit area, Queen bed, Night Stand (built in phone charger), Desk area, interior and exterior lighting, heater and fan (powered by solar system). As a part of Starlight Hills Campground you have access to filtered drinking water, common overlook (w/ BBQ pits & picnic tables), trails, bathroom and showers. Welcome to bring all your furry family members ❤️. Please Note: 2 Wheel Dr. vehicles can access all of our sites. Gravel/ Dirt road up hill.

Starlight hills is a true gem! We enjoyed our campsite which was secluded and had a beautiful a view. The on-property trail was an added bonus!

This campground was so cute! We had an amazing site that was a close enough walk to the spa and outlook, but still offered decent privacy between sites. Would definitely recommend for any couple/small family looking to get away from the city !

Very nice camp site/ partially private. Very short walk to common area with view. About 6 minutes downhill walk to spa. Also large.

Site 5 - Starlight Hills Campground

The place was beautiful and the view was amazing. We were there on a Sunday night and had the whole place to ourselves with no other guests. The hammocks were great and the hiking trail was super fun to do with my dog and my 6 year old.

Site 5 - Starlight Hills Campground

Starlight is a remote gem. There had been rain so it was a bit muddy, but a very unique camp ground. The Spa was a delight. Hot tub and sauna under the stars. I really enjoyed the relaxation. Tent camping a small trailers would be best when using the smaller camp sites. There are unique circular tents on platforms available as well as a beautiful overlook spot with hammocks. Great for group camping!
