A Night Away From the Noise
We were greeted upon arrival by the very friendly and helpful host. The spot was picturesque overlooking the river. Just a warning, the mosquitos hit with full force as soon as you open your door being so close to the river. Lynn and Tina eagerly supplied mosquito repellant, and a mosquito tent to spend the evening in. Before we turned in for the night, we learned why the ranch was so named, as we were greeted by a doe and fawn who just casually walked through the property completely uncaring that we were there. If not for the clouds and rain during our visit, the night sky would have be magnificent. Porta-potty was spotless like I’ve never experienced. Lastly there was a nice propane fire pit we were able to sit around as the sun set. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay, and we would stay again if we travel that way in the future.
