A great place to camp!
Tent · Group trip
The views were gorgeous, and the site was perfect for watching the sun rise in the morning. Maggie was also a great host - she made us feel very welcome and was very responsive if we needed anything or had any questions. Pittsburg also isn’t far away, so we were able to make a trip into the city for the day. Only thing to know is that finding the site was a little tricky, but again Maggie was very responsive and helped us get there.

Good vibes with a great host!
My husband and I stayed here during a long weekend trip after visiting a friend's wedding - We were absolutely floored with the beautiful view that greeted us every morning, the hills over the mountains with sun reflecting off the misty clouds and fogs! It was a gorgeous view, and were happily greeted by Maggie's lovely dogs that were gentle giants and nothing but friendly. Maggie was an amazing, hospitable, generous host and we had the pleasure of being guests on her land. We cannot say enough great things about Maggie and her Yurt! She is beyond friendly, and the yurt is an absolutely amazing accommodation. The snacks and camping necessities that Maggie has ready for her guests are perfect for anyone. We will be absolutely returning in the future.

From communication to accomdations, Maggie's Lauren Highland Hemp Camp made our stay very enjoyable and unforgettable! All 5 of us were very pleased with the experience. Upon our arrival, she led the way up to her very peaceful, private, and well maintained camping spot on the top of a science view that overlooked the surrounding mountains. She had a fire already burning with extra wood, a 10 person tent setup - decked out with remote control mood lights, blankets, an air mattress already inflated with pillows, snack and water amenities, tasteful decorations that made it very comfortable, and a guitar and drumbox to play around the fire. She checked in regularly asking if we needed anything during her own errands to the store and even provided ice bags when we let her know we forgot to bring some ourselves. She was very down-to-earth, friendly, and a pleasure to be around. She was kind enough to invite us down for Yoga on Friday evening where she provided pre-rolled CBD and blankets/yoga mats, which was a nice way to end our day after Hiking at the nearby Ohiopyle Park. The sunsets and sunrises were also very beautiful. Overall, I would highly recommend this campsite and we all hope to visit again soon! Maggie was awesome!

Group trip
My family and I just finished our stay at Laurel Highland Hemp Farm and we could not be more pleased with our experience. The yurt was spacious, inviting and extremely clean. The campsite/yurt location is on top of a hill giving you the feel of seclusion and privacy along with being in a prime location to Ohiopyle and hiking trails. Our host Maggie, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. From the thoughtful gifts (for us and our doggos), extra fire wood, to even opening up her own home to us. Between the panoramic views, warm hospitality and the yurt experience, Maggie has outdone herself on giving people the glamping experience. I would highly recommend Maggie and Laurel Highland Hemp Farm to everyone. This is truly an experience you wouldn’t want to miss out. You will walk away feeling blessed for the experience and the company.
