The Granary at Peach Glen is a historic property nestled in the rural landscape of Gardners, PA. Bought by Elmer Thomas in 1902, this beautiful property became home to the family that still resides there today. Here, you can enjoy the blooming orchard, rustic feel, and breathtaking views of the Appalachian Ridge, all coming together to create the perfect location for your camping enjoyment. The Granary and the stone barn foundations both offer a rustic setting for your enjoyment. Bring your outdoor games and camping chairs to sit under the stars while enjoying the campfire and roasting marshmallows. There is plenty of open space to enjoy any outdoor activity. The Granary is a great central location for activities in historic Gettysburg and Carlisle. We are also centrally located for any area in the central PA region.Pitch your tent or park your RV and have access to your little piece of beauty with a table and fire pit. Just a short walk to the main house but with your own privacy. Enjoy any outdoor game with plenty of space. Very close to the Appalachian Trial, either by a short hike directly to the trail or short drive to public parking. Bring your telescope to enjoy the starlit night sky. Location is centrally located to many historic sites in central PA including Gettysburg.

This is an amazing gem of a location with Lisa and her husband being incredibly welcoming and accommodating to anything we might need during our stay. The campsite they have created from the remains if their old family farm is worthy of a visit independent of matter what else you might have on your travel plans. The site also doubles as a wedding venue that anyone would be impressed with! Truly a gem centered close to some beautiful landscapes of Pennsylvania!

Lisa and Dale were great hosts. The campsite was well maintained. When I booked, I didn’t realize that the campsite was so close to the road. The site is very open, which made going to the bathroom a bit challenging. You definitely feel like you are camping in someone’s front yard. That being said, it was easy to access (no 4 wheel drive needed!) and beautifully landscaped. If you’re looking for an easy place to pitch a tent, then this is a great spot. If you’re looking for privacy in nature, then maybe look elsewhere.
