Hedlow Retreat is set amongst 14 hectares of lush hinterland scenery, perfectly placed on the banks of Hedlow Creek just 25 minutes drive from Rockhampton and Yeppoon. With its spectacular backdrop of towering volcanic plugs and expansive grounds, it’s a visual feast for the senses. We have unpowered and some powered sites available as well as hot showers and flushing toilets. Those keen to indulge their creature comforts will love our onsite accommodation at Hedlow Lodge or self-contained cabins. Do as much or as little as you please at Hedlow….gather around the fire pit, paddle one of our canoes, pushbike or explore our walking trails. Powered Grass Site

Me and my partner stayed at the beautiful Hedlow Retreat for two nights and it was absolute magic, this place truly has everything you could want. The camp spot positioned right next to the creek has a wonderful outdoor covered area with tables and chairs and lights for dinners and shady afternoons, fire pits with great logs to sit on to spend the evenings around and canoes and kayaks to explore the creek. Everything was immaculate, toilets and showers are beautiful and well kept, not a single piece of rubbish on the sight. Jaclyn and Matt who host you are truly wonderful people, they went above and beyond for us while we were staying there. They welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us hours of their time helping when our van batteries where flat when we came to leave. Honestly this is a one off location hosted by some of the best folk you’ll meet.

We had an amazing night at Hedlow Retreat. We could stay near the water and the sitting area which was perfect. The amenities are clean and good. The owners were so helpful and kind, we'd love to come back someday.

A beautiful site that has everything you need. Check in was easy with Jaclyn reaching out to ensure a smooth arrival. Upon arrival the site is beautifully set next to a creek with very clean amenities and access to power. A great campsite and we will definitely return when we are passing this way again.
