Harper Creek Road and Harper Creek Criss cross one another as you drive through the valley. The ridges either side of the road are largely timbered, whereas the valley floor is productive land. The large property is located towards the end of this no-through-road, almost at the end of the line. While the property has dual access from both Engle Rd at the top camp; Harper Creek Rd, we enter from the valley. Camping on the top block is also available for 4WD vehicles only and not suited to large caravans. Campers are required to be self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pits with firewood provided or BYO. The mid-1900’s cottage sits in an idyllic setting, framed by the trees. The cottage is not yet available for Farm stays but will be soon. The location, vegetation and topography provide the privacy, the fauna & birdlife (the Bellbirds) combine to provide the solitude. Harper Creek cuts through the front corner of the property where it is met by a minor creek that drains the high country. You want more … how about a total of 115 acres (46.42 ha). While it is predominantly well-treed, it does have some cleared camping opportunities. It is watered by the creeks and one dam. There’s a great camping site at the top of the block, with a fantastic view! The property is off Aherns Rd, close to the village of Conondale and mid-way between Maleny & Kenilworth. With good access to the freeway via either Maleny or Kenilworth.… a perfect bush camping spot in a perfect setting! Pets welcome, please ensure they are kept under control and picked up after.Harper Creek Road and Harper Creek criss cross one another as you drive through the valley. Sleep in the clouds
16 ft Class B · With pets
We spent an incredible two nights camped up above the clouds on Max’s farm. Max is a top fella who gave spot on directions, freshly mowed the camp site for us and even made a three hour round trip on Sunday to assist us when we had a little difficulty leaving site with our van after some unforeseen heavy rain the night before. Very peaceful and secluded, breathtaking views and plenty of birdlife along the private forest walk that is exclusive to this site.

We booked just before a long weekend and were pleasantly surprised with the area set aside for us. Max had slashed the long grass to make a nice camp site for us and then came down to make sure we had everything we needed. Max has a lovely property in a secluded valley and is well worth a visit

The hosts Max and Carolina were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to accomodate us. Very peaceful spot with great views and a beautiful 11 week old puppy to keep us company. Can’t wait to go back and see how big she has gotten

Off the beaten track.
21 ft travel trailer · With kids
We enjoyed our stay on Max's Farm. Max is very welcoming and accommodating. The property is off the beaten track 20 mins from Maleny. We enjoyed some of the local water holes and exploring the area.

39 ft travel trailer · With pets
Such a wonderful and secluded area. Very quiet near the end of a gravel road. The property is huge and includes a rainforest and walk with a freshwater stream. Definitely recommended. Bottom sites are flat and great for watching the stars at night due to low levels of light pollution.
