There is a variety of campsites in ranging in elevation from river flats to ridgelines over looking the Glasshouse Mountains. Whether you want private secluded camping in amongst the tree's high up on one of the ridges, to multiple campsites camping in a group setting down by the river. Accessibility is varying depends on the campsite you chose. From 2 wheel drive cars to 4 wheel drive off road capable vehicles. There is even technical accessible campsites for the most experienced 4 wheel drive operators only. There is kilometers of walking and exploring tracks whether you would like to experience some undulating terrain up through the bush or meandering along the river checking out the wildlife. You might even come across the odd deer. This is an operational cattle farm. This farm is only a couple kilometer away from the glasshouse mountain so it is perfect for camping and doing rides to the forest. Or even bring your mountains bike to do some of the trails. Planty of timber on site to have own campfires.

Stanley River Camping

We stayed 7 nights at Peachester Dairies and chose a site on top of the hill. So glad we did so we could take in the views of the Glasshouse mountains and the rolling hills of the farm. Easy to get to and easy access to some of the sunshine coasts best drives and walks. From the stars in the sky to the morning fog and the ever changing views of the clouds rolling in, the birds, the easy access to the river and the serenity we really enjoyed our stay.
