This campsite offers plenty of space and a welcoming atmosphere, with the hosts going above and beyond to ensure guests feel at home. It's a great spot for those who enjoy the outdoors, with nearby amenities like a playground and tennis court for the kids. While the area is peaceful and ideal for a getaway, some visitors noted the presence of midges, so be prepared. Overall, it's a lovely location for families and friends looking to explore the scenic surroundings.

Really pretty camp grounds had a resident bearded dragon hang with us all day which was really cool, plenty of shade and heaps of room on sites, our fur babies had a great time as well.

Camp at boonooroo

If you love the waterways, national parks, 4wd tracks and wildlife this camp spot is for you! Our family visited this camp site over Australia Day and found it a perfect hideaway far from any shops, city or noise all to yourself or very few people and known locals, when arriving we met with host he was extremely helpful and makes your stay comfortable! We will defiantly return.
Thank you Amber :)

Plenty of space and firewood, right next door to a cricket pitch, playground and tennis court so the kids were entertained and a lovely location as well. We’ll surely be back next time we’re up that way!

Quiet spot, heaps of space to set up a camp away from other campers. Not a huge amount to do in the area but close to Maryborough and 45 mins to Harvey Bay.
Host was nice.
Pack the insect repellent! Lots of midges when we stayed.
