What to Expect: • Tree-Lined Haven: Wander through vast areas filled with native trees, providing shade and a tranquil atmosphere. Ideal for tent setups, there’s plenty of space to find your perfect camping spot. • Wildlife Sanctuary: The western section of the property is a dedicated koala habitat. Keep an eye out for these iconic Australian marsupials and other native wildlife. Guests are encouraged to respect and protect the wildlife during their stay. • Stargazing Opportunities: With minimal light pollution, the property offers stunning views of the night sky. Perfect for stargazing or enjoying a campfire under the stars. • Activities: Whether you prefer exploring the bushland, birdwatching, or simply unwinding, there’s something for everyone here. What to Know: • Guests should bring their own camping gear, water, and supplies. • This is a self-sufficient, off-grid experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in nature. • Wildlife protection is a priority. Please adhere to guidelines and keep your campsite clean to minimize impact on the environment. • Access is suitable for vehicles, but 4WD is recommended for some areas. Fire Safety Warning: • Fire Pits: Guests must bring a self-contained fire pit or prepare a cleared area for their fireplace. Open fires should be built in safe, designated areas and away from trees or vegetation. • Fire Responsibility: Fires must never be left unattended and should be completely extinguished before going to sleep or leaving the campsite. • Dry Conditions: The area is filled with native trees and dry land, making fire safety a top priority. Whether it’s a quiet weekend getaway or an adventurous bush camping trip, you’ll find a home here.This private, off-grid site is surrounded by dense vegetation and native trees, offering a rugged and peaceful camping experience. • Access: A 4WD is recommended due to uneven terrain and occasional fallen trees. Be prepared to clear small obstructions if necessary. • Essentials: • You must be fully self-contained with all necessary camping gear, water, and supplies. • Fires are discouraged due to dry vegetation. If permitted, fires must be small, contained, and in compliance with local fire bans. • Be conscious of the wildlife, including koalas and kangaroos, as well as protected native flora. • Watch out for loose or falling trees, especially during windy conditions. • Rubbish Policy: • Ensure you take all rubbish and garbage with you when you leave. • The site is assessed after each visit, and any rubbish left behind will incur a clean-up fee. Tara Council is extremely strict, as are we, about maintaining a pristine, natural environment that prioritizes our animals and land. • Privacy: We only allow one booking at a time, giving you exclusive access to the entire 425-acre property to explore and enjoy undisturbed. This untouched bushland is yours to discover, offering an authentic wilderness escape where you can truly disconnect and immerse yourself in nature.

Due to dense vegetation and rugged terrain, access can be challenging, especially for larger vehicles. We recommend: • Caravans and Camper Trailers: Park along the boundary lines for easier reversing between trees and to allow a straight exit. This also helps you stay within property boundaries. • Campervans and Cars: Suitable for exploring and accessing most parts of the property, but a 4WD is highly recommended. • Fifth Wheels and Motorhomes: Not suitable due to tight access and limited turning space. Be prepared to navigate fallen trees and uneven ground, and always check local conditions before arrival.

Be mindful of the heavily vegetated areas, as they may contain venomous spiders and snakes, like many parts of Australia. Your pet’s safety and the protection of wildlife are our priority.

Bring your own water, purify from lake or pond. We have a dam located midway on the property, filled naturally by rainwater. If you wish to use this water for drinking, you will need to bring your own filtration system. The water is accessible at any time and can be used as a reserve for fire safety or other non-potable needs. Please exercise caution when near the dam, and always prioritise safety.
