Stephen is a very kind and friendly host. His property is beautiful with lots of wildlife. Since you are on an island it get windy, choose your spot wisely.

Camping at MeanFeat downs was beautiful! Steve has a beautiful property and mostly central to everything we wanted to see!
It was nice to come back to a quiet camp with wildlife right on your back door step! We would recommend and would stay again!

I love the camping on Stephen land it was so picturesque and very peaceful the view over the bay was amazing. The host Stephen was very helpful and friendly if you are visiting kangaroos island it a most place to stay .

The dog's Lou & Don

We had never been to kangaroo Is before & wanted something different to just staying a van park as we can live off grid. The place is huge & we found a spot that gave us protection from the elements with the ability to have an evening fire with some fallen wood on site & that which we brought with us. The dogs noses got a good work out with the smells but had trouble working out why the other dog's ran on the back legs. They were buggered at the end of each day. The host's welcomed us on arrival & were extremely friendly then took us for a look around so we could choose our spot. The property for us was the perfect starting point for where we wanted to see & do over the 3 day's we had on the Island. If we get back over one day we know where to stay. Cheers Don.
