Custer's Last Chance RV Park & Campground Is about us and our dream come true. We spent 3 years putting a plan together so we could make the move to South Dakota. Finding the right piece of land wasn't easy and came with a few setbacks. We were lucky to find land in Custer with the French Creek running through the property. The creek features a couple of wide pools. The rest of the creek is fairly narrow with slow moving water. The kids will have a great time exploring the lower acreage. 2024 we added Full hookups to some of our sites, we still offer a few dry camping spots as well. Without you this dream wouldn't be possible. We hope you enjoy your stay!

I stopped here just to sleep on labor day weekend, was the only place had openings. No frills campground, right by the busy road. No trees, felt like a parking lot. But was useful for me to just pull up and sleep in my car. The host was friendly and greeted me upon entering.

It’s a pretty good place to stay if you’re just passing through. The porta potties were kind of gross but I guess they all are Thanks so much.

Very quiet and relaxing. Close to all the fun Black Hills has to offer. Megan,her husband, and their pup Duke welcomed us upon arriving and checked on us throughout our stay to make sure we were OK. Very nice people! I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

The Good: Nice hosts, clean place, really good tent sites with grass, grills and good parking. Close to town. The Bad: the road is close by and noisy.

Site 9 - Camper Van/ Trk & Camper

The owners are extremely nice. The campsite is located in a great area. My only complaint is they need to gravel the road and campsite. The road is dirt and they have put some mulch down at the camper spot but it is not enough. We got dust and mud every where.
