Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
4.5 acres in a quiet neighborhood 25 min outside of downtown Nashville. Over 500 ft of private beach frontage on the scenic Harpeth River surrounded by a large bluff. The large back yard offers beautiful views year round with lots of activities like bird/eagle watching, fishing, kayaking/tubing and relaxing in the sun. Pitch a beach chair and spend your days looking for shells and splashing in the water. Enjoy fireflies and music of owls and frogs in the summer evenings.
You are welcome to park on the driveway, near the deck, or choose a spot anywhere in the backyard/along the river. To get to the beach/river, drive down the paved area to the right of the garage.
We only host one group at a time, so you can assure you'll have a nice private area to yourself. The inside of the house is available to rent on popular bnb rental sites, however the Hipcamp site is for the driveway, deck, backyard, and beach only (outside areas only). We block off our calendar so that the Hipcamp and inside of the house are not rented out at the same time and that you have your privacy while on property. The deck has a solo stove, pergola, and propane grill that you are welcome to enjoy.
Choose your campsite, roast some s'mores and enjoy the good river life while still having the convenience of city amenities. There are many restaurant and grocery options within 15 min as well as Uber eats delivery available. We are so close to the iconic Loveless Cafe that it would be a shame to not have a plate of biscuits while you're here.
Our campsite is a pet friendly property! Pets may be off leash as long as they are closely monitored and not roaming unattended. Please note the yard is private but not fully fenced in.
For our bird watchers: we regularly have hummingbirds, cardinals, bluebirds, finches, wrens, woodpeckers, bluejays, titmouse, and chickadees at our feeders as well as bald eagles, red tail hawks, Herons, Canadian Geese and wild turkeys around the bluff.4.5 acres in a quiet neighborhood 25 min outside of downtown Nashville. It was such a unique experience to have private access to the Harpeth River! Spent most of my time walking in the river looking for rocks and trying to get my dog to not be so fearful of the water. The river was shallow and deep, still and moving, and cool and warm in places so just couldn't have a bad time there.A pair of good water shoes..really all you need. Very well kept property ..had recently mowed and I didn't see one mosquito! Thank you to the hosts and I hope to return soon. JS

Perfect! Everything we need. Nothing more nothing less. Pull in around the house and the place is yours. We have a truck with a RTT trailer and set up just above the rock beach, put our chairs out and chilled. Looking at the pictures we took and you would think we were anyway in the back country.

A Hidden Gem!
Tent
We had the best time camping on the river! Absolutely gorgeous location with a big private beach. We had a great time floating the Harpeth and the hosts provided some good route options for our group. There was lots of wildlife everywhere…we saw beavers, geese, a river otter and a bald eagle swooped right over our tents. On our last day we hit up Loveless Cafe per the hosts recommendation and man was it good. Can’t wait to be back soon!

Super peaceful
Tent
What an amazing experience! I was in need of a peaceful getaway to heal and Erica’s spot was more than I dreamed of. Alone in nature (only saw 4 peeps boating down the river in a 3 day span). The constant flow of water was very relaxing. Highly recommend -very special. Will return with my partner so she can take it all in as well-thank you, Erica!
