This spot gives a great view of the beach. Unfortunately it rained most of the time during my stay but the covered rv port along with the covered area on the above deck made it easy to enjoy my stay while remaining dry.

The site to pick on Bolivar!
23 ft travel trailer · With kids
Look no further for one of the best sites on Bolivar! Fenced for the dogs, great view and right across the street from the beach! Quiet area and in close proximity to Big Store, restaurants and an easy drive to the ferry. We tend to stay at KOA holiday or RV resorts on trips but this spot is far and above our favorite. There should be no other choice when staying on Bolivar. Bonus: You can't get a better host than Michael.

Amazing site just a few steps from the beach! We had some bad weather so I was thankful for the covered camp site. The upstairs is amazing with a great view of the beach and canal.

Camping at the beach off the sand!
13 ft travel trailer · With pets
This property is truly exceptional and far surpasses what the photos depict. It's a modern build, meticulously designed with ample outlets, lighting, and RV connections, making it ideal for large gatherings. With just the two of us and our dogs, the space felt expansive. Our setup included a Jeep and a teardrop camper, yet there was more than enough room for even the largest RVs. The standout feature for us as dog owners was the fully enclosed yard, providing a safe space for our dogs to freely roam. The property comes well-equipped with comfortable furniture, eliminating the need to unpack our own. Downstairs, Adirondack chairs are available and upstairs boasts a huge screened room with a picnic table, additional seating, a grill, and an outdoor TV—all complemented by a ceiling fan, though the constant breeze over Memorial Day weekend kept us cool and bug-free. Note, the shower only provides cold water. The unroofed half of the upstairs features a covered area with loungers where we enjoyed stunning views. The site could use a maintenance pass, but nothing detracted from our stay. The neighboring properties were occupied by friendly, dog-owning residents, enhancing our stay. Plus, the beach is just a quick walk away. I only wish I had captured more videos and photos to share this amazing experience! The best part, because it’s a grass lot, is that we don’t have sand everywhere!

This place was awesome. Especially if you are traveling with a dog. The fence is secure, the porch upstairs is safe, and has amazing views. It was a perfect stay!!!
