Next Stop: Lubbock
My wife and I really enjoyed out stay at Kat's skoolie. It's a comfy place tucked into the outskirts of Lubbock, so it offers a quiet place to lay low. You're far enough from the highway and any neighborhood so there's not a lot of road noise. The outside has warm-colored party lights that invite you to the bus after your arduous journey. The inside is very pleasant with everything you'd typically find in a hotel; bed, toilet, sink, and coffee-maker. BTW... *definitely* grind and drink some of Nat's coffee! You won't regret it!! As strange as it sounds, I loved how simple everything was. There's a DVD player with a handfull of DVDs on the bedroom. My wife and I enjoyed the simplicity of not connecting our phone to the TV, and just falling asleep to a movie like we did so many times in our childhood. Since we dream of converting our own bus in the future, we took many notes on what our future home would look like. Our experience was incredibly pleasant and we recommend Kat & Dan's Skoolie to anyone else in the area!

Cushy Bus
Last minute booking to avoid wind-storm camping. The bus was super spacious and comfortable! Enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee while watching a beautiful TX sunrise. The farm fresh eggs were a thoughtful touch. A large luxurious bed made for restful sleep. Easy to find with their directions, and everything we needed fo the night.
