Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Experience the charm of 45 acres of rolling hills featuring a newly renovated barn building. Water and electricity can be provided for an additional charge. The farm is situated off Route 20 at the foothill of Southwind Estate and was formerly a vineyard. In spring, fruit trees will be planted, adding to the scenic beauty. Conveniently, there are five wineries located within 5 miles of the farm. Both the campsite and the barn are discreetly tucked away from the main road, offering a private and tranquil retreat.A wonderful hideaway on Route 20. Yet, it is close to everything you want to do and you need. There are (5) wineries within 5 mile radius. Hiking trails, downtown Gordonsville is only 10-mins away. The camping site / RV site is in front of the barn door. it is flat. Please keep camp fire 10' away from the barn. The barn is not regularly occupied so you have total privacy.

What a lovely property! We thoroughly enjoyed the vistas and proximity to all Gordonsville, Charlottesville, and the surrounding area had to offer. We never met our host in person, but that was perfectly fine as it really wasn’t necessary since they were excellent about communicating. We highly recommend this Hip Camp and look forward to staying here again on or next trip through this scenic part of Virginia!
