Stewart's Corner has it all! Offering TWO RV spots with 50amp plug, access to water, septic and large fenced-in backyard for your pets. We accommodate every type of camper. Whether you live in an RV, schoolie, van, car camp or pitch a tent, you can expect a private, peaceful, safe, clean, 3 acre flat property with option to park in lot 1 (gravel lot) or lot 2 (meadow). Each has its own 50amp plug and separate entrances to backyard. Huge fenced-in backyard is perfect for your doggo or cat to roam while safely ensconced from the road and animals. The backyard features a large stone firepit to gather around, roast marshmallows or star-gaze. The property provides plenty of room to park your RV, 5th wheel, schoolie and store your vehicles at the same time. The front and back of home offers access to fresh well water for cooking, rinsing off or filling up your water tank. Campers can use the front and back porches to sit and charge up if using a standard 110 outlet. A dump station is available if you need to empty your gray water. Conveniently located off Cross County Road and Route 33 (Jefferson Highway). Stay the night while en route to Richmond or Charlottesville or stay the month or longer if you work at the power plant or UVA hospital. Stewart’s Corner has a huge fenced in backyard for all your fur babies. There are a ton of wineries/breweries close by. Everleigh winery is 5 minutes. Cooling Pond Brewery and Callie Opie Winery are 10 minutes. Lake Anna Tap House is 20 minutes. Lake Anna State Park is within 25 minutes where you can swim, fish and hike. Gas is within 5 min. Miller’s grocery is 8 minutes away in downtown Mineral. Laundry, Food Lion and Dollar Tree within 10 min in Louisa. Richmond and Charlottesville are within 45 min. Highly recommend the Market at Grelen in Somerset which is 45 min.

You'll have this Hipcamp all to yourself.

Campfires allowed

Firewood provided, firepit, private. Camp fire is only allowed in the designated firepit in the backyard. Starter wood is provided. Please use the firepit responsibly.

Toilet available

Portable toilet. Portable toilet with bio degradable bags included if needed. Pop up tent is available for privacy. If u have an RV, a dumping station is available if u have black water. If u have a compost toilet, the closest dump is 8 min away.

Pets allowed

Off leash. Dogs and cats can go off leash in the backyard since its fenced in. The backyard is large with plenty of room for running around. I wouldn't recommend off leash on the driveway or meadow since it’s not fenced in. You can walk your dog on leash around the property since it’s 3 acres.

Potable water available

Hose, pump or well. Fresh well water available from hose in the picture. Front and back spickets.

Showers available

Cold water only. Water spicket with hose can be used for rinsing off. Available pop up tent can be used for privacy.

Bins available

Trash bin. A metal garbage bin with bag is available for temporary storage. Please ensure that lid is kept on & take the garbage with you upon departure. The dump is 8 minutes away.

Picnic table present

There are three portable chairs & small table on the back porch. Two metal tables & chair on the front porch.

Cooking equipment absent

There is a firepit for cooking. If using an electric stove or tea kettle, u can plug in on the porch.

No wifi

Laundry absent

Closest laundromat is 8 min away in Mineral or in Louisa. I provide water and electric. U could hand wash and hang clothes in backyard.

Hot Tub absent

No playground

There is no playground but the large backyard is fenced in so your children can play in a safe area if u bring toys.

What a gem!

Simply put: this place has it all. A beautiful piece of property, privacy, fenced in yard, fire pit, 50 amp shore, fresh water, and best of all: an amazing host. We used Stewart’s Corner as our kickoff for transitioning to the skoolie life, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our choice. Mary knows to provide a true home away from home, and we enjoyed waking up to sunrise shining on the green meadows. Mineral and Louisa are a quick drive away with access to groceries, laundry, and hardware stores. We definitely recommend checking out Everleigh Vineyards for the wine, food, and music. Landfill is just up the road (important for a longer skoolie stay). Richmond and Charlottesville are less than an hour in each direction. We will most definitely be back. We can’t imagine passing through the area and not at least staying the night.

Tent

This is a beautiful, secluded campsite near Lake Anna. It was private, and the porches really came in handy. It rained quite a bit, thankfully we could go under the back or front porch to avoid sun/rain. This campsite has no other noisy campers, and is very peaceful because of it. Closeby is Mineral Restaurant, which is a diner, and Everleigh winery a literal 4 minute drive away. All in all, would rent again, such a lovely spot.
