1.5 acre plot located west of Port Townsend near Cape George and Discovery Trail. This forest meadow is a peaceful, private spot to rest and relax when you are not having adventures on the Olympic Peninsula. Perfect for RVs, Camper Trailers, Vans, or tents of all types. The entire property is listed as a single camp site, so there is maximum privacy and solitude compared to a multi-site venue like Ft Worden State Park. Green Acre Camp is located in a semi-residential, semi-rural area of unincorporated Port Townsend, only 10-15 min drive to main restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions of downtown Port Townsend. Plenty of flat space for tent camping, running well water, and RV power pedestal with 30a, 50a, and standard 20a/120v plugs. Pack-in, Pack-out; there is no toilet, sink, or shower. Enter the property on private dirt road connected to Hastings Ave and you may park anywhere in the upper field immediately on left when you enter the driveway. There is a locked shed that houses the well pump, and you can use the water spigot and hose. Water is potable but recommend using a filter for any drinking water in case there is sediment from the well. RV power pedestal is just past the shed and there is space for vehicle parking or tent setup near the electricity. Property is shaped like a right triangle with Hastings Ave , a local 2-lane loop road that is 40mph, as the hypotenuse. There is tree cover along Hastings and shared driveway at bottom edge of the triangle. As you continue down the driveway a few hundred yards, you approach neighbor's fence and property line. This corner makes the right angle of the triangle and the property line runs straight left until it connects back to Hastings Ave. Main camp site is the “upper field” where there is room for parking and the power/water connections. This is conveniently level with the main road and power/water connections are about 50 yards from Hastings and the driveway in the southwest corner. There is “lower field” that is a trimmed grass field right corner next to the dirt road on the southeast corner of the land. Finally there is the “back field” where there is large, grass field and a fire ring across the northern half of the property. The back field has an unused septic system underground, so we leave the grass and vegetation longer here to attract wildlife and preserve the infrastructure for potential future use. No vehicles allowed in back field. In the middle of the property is a grove of pine and cedar trees with thick, native salal bushes and rhododendrons crisscrossed with paths created by humans and the local deer population. Driveway is shared by neighboring property so wave and smile if our neighbors walk or drive out to the main road, and please be respectful of their property line and follow the local culture of 'live and let live'.1.5 acre forest meadow with power connections, running water, and plenty of space for your tent, trailer, or RV. 50a, 30a, and 20a (120v) electricity connections on power pedestal. Added 6ft picnic table in late 2024. Upper field with ample parking, lower field with thick grass and salal, back field with flat field the size of a football field. Central tree grove provides privacy and shade with footpath through the middle. Close to all the attractions of Port Townsend. Minutes to wineries, golf, state parks, Cape George, or beautiful Victorian downtown. Neighbors up the hill share driveway and property is lined by trees along Hastings Ave W, a popular local loop road, but otherwise you have complete privacy. please do not venture beyond well-marked property line.

This was a great spot! Easy to navigate and close to Port Townsend and Sequim. We stayed for a long weekend and it was quiet, peaceful, and an overall great experience! We will be back.

Perfect spot to hide
23 ft travel trailer · With kids
Tim's place was was exactly what i was looking for: power hook ups, water, hidden from the road and people, nice leveled out land and lots of trees all around. We were even greeted by the local deer. I would absolutely work with Tim again, next time I take my RV out to Port Townsend.

Great Spot!
23 ft Class C
I would definitely recommend Green Acres! It was very convenient to Port Townsend which was great for me because I missed the ferry and needed a quick place to overnight ;-) They have created a well kept green space with amenities and it is very private. 💚
