Welcome! We offer a simple off-grid glamping spot for those that want to get away to nature but want a few of the comforts of, and not all the packing, camping requires. We are located on 4 semi-wooded acres with 100+ year old cedars and Douglas firs, a small creek and a meadow and wetland with many wild birds, owl, eagles, coyotes, deer and other wildlife. We are just minutes from Historic downtown Poulsbo and Port Gamble. We now have a sofa/futon bed so we can sleep up to 4.
Perfect location to run off to the Olympic Peninsula for the day, touring around locally, or just enjoying connecting to nature on the property. There is a regular wood burning fire pit and a backup propane fire pit so you can have a campfire during burn bans! There is a foot pump sink, propane outdoor heated shower, and compost toilet for guest use. Glamping fun!We offer a wooded canvas logging tent glamping experience on 4+ acres of conservation land, just 5 miles north of downtown Poulsbo. All bedding, cooking ware and linens provided plus coffee, sugar and creamer, cooking oil, salt and pepper. One Queen size bed and one futon queen bed to sleep up to 4. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with the addition of the pet fee in the extras. A forested creek and a small meadow with a little walking trail complete the experience, along with a lovely campfire pit. Our house is on the property, but it is over 250ft away from the glamping spot. We want to give our guests all the privacy they desire, so you probably won't see much of us unless you need assistance with anything and in that case, we are right there to help.
There is a bath house for guest use, with a compost toilet, handwash sink and propane heated shower. The shower is operable any time there is not freezing weather in the forecast. There is a solar powered battery bank inside the tent in order to run the lights, blender, or charge your phone or other electronics. Then in the bathhouse there is solar power to run the toilet fan and lights in the bathhouse.
Cooking is available using the woodstove or the two-burner propane camp stove. We provide the little propane canisters, and we start you off with one bundle of wood/fire starters for free.
Walk the wooded trail out the meadow and have a picnic in the grass, or just enjoy the mountain view in the distance. There is also a hammock in the woods during the warmer months. You can see the border of the property as it is marked by little pink flags. Please keep animals and people on our side of the flags.
