1 block with river access. Sometimes there's a bank to sit on, sometimes there's not, I don't control the depth of the water. If you want to get real good access, drive 3 miles to marblemount boat launch. Illabot creek is close by also. Completely off grid. Camp fire site. Lots of hiking, biking, motor cycle, 4 wheeling areas. Do some fishing. Water rafting company available nearby. Quiet spaces to sit and read a book. 3 miles from gas and conveniences. 5 miles from rockport tavern and night life.1 site. Accommodates approximately 1 trailer. Trailers will need to be backed in. And Up to 3 tents. Completely off grid property. Sitting areas for reading. And game playing areas. Games are in the purple bin on the porch of the cabin. Please do not let children swing on the gates or play with the locks and chains to the gates, or touch things on the property that you didn't bring in. Please use your own water or water from the river, not the water in the rain barrels. Please remember to bring your firewood with you and take your trash back home with you. If you bring a pet please pick up their poop, don't ruin it for other campers, thank you. Host stays in cabin occasionally, but not while there are campers on the property. Manager lives up road. There are a few neighbor dogs that walk around. Hank is tan and very sweet and timid and his friend is brown and white and a very sweet dog also. Camp managers live close by, their names are Shania and isabelle. Please call for lock box code hanging on the second red gate when you arrive. If the first red gate is closed and locked, walk a half block down the road on the other side of the first red gate, there you will find the second red gate and lock box. Their numbers are 360-610-3459 and 360-899-6868. Or text 360-855-0257. Thank you for staying.

Camping with direct river access
We had an amazing time at Heather’s. Huge space with 4 sites next to each other. Direct river access, clean porta potty. The noise from the road didn’t bother us. She was very hospitable and responded immediately when we had a question. Thanks for having us!

The directions and instructions were helpful and the host was very responsive. She even helped me navigate when I got lost. The property was well stocked with water, yard games and the porta potty was really clean.

Great for a Skagit River Getaway
22 ft campervan · With kids
The Woodsy Retreat was just what we were looking for as our home base for rafting the Skagit River. A sweet spot with dappled sun, plenty of room for two large tents and a camper van, a cute little outhouse and hand wash station. Little sitting spots sprinkled around the property. The host was great—easy to connect with and helpful. Thanks!

It was great experience for us first time camping with RV. Have the site all to ourselves which is great and was very relaxing. Saw neighbors dogs (more than two tho) they were friendly and played with our dog. Anita and her partner were friendly. The only thing I’d suggest is to set a clear sign where the camp is. Google map lead us to nearby but we couldn’t find the gate to the camp site. We were trying to contact the camp manager but phone went to voicemails. But we were able to figure out quickly.

Super private & beautiful location!
16 ft campervan
This site was super private & serene and in a great location! Super close to North Cascades National Park! The property itself has everything you need & the check in process was super simple! You're also close to town in case you need anything or even just wanna treat yourself to a glass of wine or dinner!

I believe we were the first hipcampers to stay here. The property is in a beautiful area and not too difficult to find. There are multiple sitting areas and tables which were very helpful. You can tell the hosts are working to make this an enjoyable place to stay! The description is slightly misleading, as we believed the area would be larger. We had no problem backing our trailer in, but the camp would be very crowded with more than two small trailers or a few tents. I will say that there would not be a lot of privacy if the hosts were staying there at the same time, as the cabin is no more than 30-50 feet from the camping areas. This was not a problem as we had the place to ourselves. The host was helpful and responded to communication quickly. We were traveling with three dogs, and were not aware of the neighborhood wandering dogs when booking. The neighbor dogs did not come all the way to the camp but did chase our car barking and biting at the tires. It made us worry about them coming into the camp with our dogs as they did not appear friendly. Overall, it was a quiet area in great proximity to the national park, hiking and fishing.
