21 ft travel trailer · With pets
I believe we were the first hipcampers to stay here. The property is in a beautiful area and not too difficult to find. There are multiple sitting areas and tables which were very helpful. You can tell the hosts are working to make this an enjoyable place to stay!
The description is slightly misleading, as we believed the area would be larger. We had no problem backing our trailer in, but the camp would be very crowded with more than two small trailers or a few tents. I will say that there would not be a lot of privacy if the hosts were staying there at the same time, as the cabin is no more than 30-50 feet from the camping areas. This was not a problem as we had the place to ourselves.
The host was helpful and responded to communication quickly. We were traveling with three dogs, and were not aware of the neighborhood wandering dogs when booking. The neighbor dogs did not come all the way to the camp but did chase our car barking and biting at the tires. It made us worry about them coming into the camp with our dogs as they did not appear friendly. Overall, it was a quiet area in great proximity to the national park, hiking and fishing.
