The Silo is a place where nature, country&modern touches meet in the mountains of Harpers Ferry West Virginia! Here you’ll experience staying in a fully renovated silo grain bin while enjoying the sounds of nature in the woods. Located just 8 minutes from Harpers Ferry National Park, Harpers Ferry Brewing, Harpers Ferry Adventures, Maryland Heights hiking trail&the Historic "low town" area, it's the perfect lodging location for the adventurous traveler after exploring all the town has to offer. Our property was built with the unique, adventurous, down to earth, out of box, nature loving traveler in mind. Our property has untraditional and outdoorsy lodging elements. If you have a more city, hotel or traditional lodging preference, we invite you to seek other accommodation options in the area as that is not the target market for an enjoyable stay at the silo. *We have a black camper on the property for a limited time. No one stays in the camper and it does not effect the silo in anywayThe Silo is a place where nature, country&modern touches meet in the mountains of Harpers Ferry West Virginia! Amazing glamping experience!
Had an amazing weekend at the Silo house! Enjoyed a campfire with smores at night. Played some records and boardgames. Place was clean and exactly as pictured. No long laundry list of chores to check out was a nice plus! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Mixed feelings

The location of the site couldn’t be a better base camp for exploring Harper’s Ferry and getting some hiking in. I felt completely safe during my solo stay with my dog. Some of the details of the silo range from questionable and inconvenient to a little risky. The shower is poorly set up and led to lots of water leaking, plus the hot water only lasted a few minutes. The shelves in the shower and kitchen were oddly high up, making reaching for heavy appliances and breakable bowls uneasy. The stairs are poorly constructed, with the treads tilted slightly downward — I didn’t blame my dog for not wanting to go up or down, I didn’t either. If those things don’t bother you, you can have an otherwise cozy stay.
