Built in 2013, our lovely getaway has an open-concept living/dining/kitchen area, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, wraparound deck, sunroom, and gorgeous views of the water. Miles from civilization, with just one or two locals to keep you from feeling too isolated, Loon Straits is a hidden gem located on the east shores of Lake Winnipeg, under 3 hours drive north of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The drive up to our cottage is so beautiful that you won’t even mind the distance! The lawn is great for playing lawn sports (bocci ball anyone?), tanning, campfires, or yoga. Our private dock and boat launch are steps from the front door so you can launch your canoe or fishing boat in no time. WATERFRONT: granite rock, accessible for swimming and fishing.
