What a beautiful place. And Jill was the kindest host. The trails are worth coming out for alone. So peaceful and refreshing. We'd be back in a heartbeat.

Amazing, serine place and we'll definitely be back. Loved the animals, the cozy feeling of the campsites, and the attention to detail.
Hip Land with Stream and Pond
in Hagerman's Hip Hideaway, IdahoSite 1 - Old growth orchard + mountainscape
in Blue Mountain Falls, WashingtonThis was a fun and interesting place to camp. The campsite itself is a simple, grassy area among apple trees, but as Zack and Hannah were welcoming for us to explore their whole property, it holds more interest with a hiking trail, waterfall, berry bushes, and friendly animals. Our kids made friends with the dog, cats, and pigs -- and we enjoyed the hammock that came with our campsite too. The outdoor shower looked fine, but we didn't need to use it. The creek on the property is seasonal, so there was no water in it when we stayed there in August.
We enjoyed driving out to explore the nearby area -- downtown Bellingham was really cute and we hit up several local diners as well. This would be a good camp place for people wanting to feel secluded but easily reach civilization as well. Our portable internet worked well during our stay, which is important as we both work mobile jobs and required a strong connection.
Zack and Hannah were enthusiastic hosts who obviously love their farm. They were very welcoming.

in Blue Mountain Falls, WashingtonSite 3 - Giant Crystal Retreat @ DragonsGate
in Dragons Gate Gardens & Wilds, WashingtonThings we loved:
- Kind, friendly hosts who seemed eager to please.
- Pretty surroundings.
- Clean fresh water that the hosts brought to our campsite.
- The pathways around the camp (to the shared campfire ring, to the toilet) were lit at night by solar lights, which was helpful in the dark.
- Warm outdoor showers were available. Just be aware you have to go to the main house and be escorted to the shower by the host. It's a fairly open shower area; might be a little uncomfortable for guests wanting more privacy -- but we didn't mind showering with the chickens :)
Things we struggled with:
- The pit toilet was on the less-than-nice side. Hosts did mention they were planning to clean it soon.
- Lots of mosquitoes in the evening (which is to be expected) but make sure you bring bug spray!
- Low signal / internet connectivity (again, this is to be expected in remote areas -- just flagging for future guests.) We use Verizon for internet and Google Fi for phone service.
Overall we enjoyed our stay!
Site 6
in Reiki Ranch RV Camping, WashingtonThis seems like a very lovely campground. The hostess was so sweet in welcoming us with fresh apples from her tree.
Unfortunately we were unable to get Internet connectivity or phone service (certainly something that can be expected when camping remotely, but something that is worth knowing about before you arrive!) Since we work remote jobs and we needed the Internet, we had to leave. This was not the fault of the host or anything wrong with the campsite, just posting for informational purposes for future campers who might need to be connected while camping. (We use Verizon for Internet and Google Fi for phone service.)
We would love to return sometime and enjoy this lovely-looking place on a weekend when we don't have to work! When the hostess realized we had to leave, she even offered us a free night of camping sometime in the future. Excellent customer service.
