Description
Follow these two simple steps for a guaranteed good time: 1. Get ahold of a boat, 2. Captain that vessel straight to the boat-in only Kingfisher Island Campground in the Flaming Gorge Reservoir. There are only 8 sites on the island and all of them have GORGEous views (pun very intended). The fishing both on the reservoir and the Green River below is some of the country’s best. And, if those sea legs need a break at any point during your stay, there are over 220 miles of trails to explore in the area, too.
