Description

If you tuck yourself away in Utah’s southeast corner, you’ll stumble upon the wonderful Buckboard Campground, right at the base of the Abajo Mountains. It’s a relatively small campground, but it has everything you’ll need for a fun time outside…like nearby hiking trails, for example. If you visit during the fall, you’ll undoubtedly be pumped about the colorful aspens, too. The Abajo Loop State Scenic Byway is also worth mentioning, because it passes right by the campground. And, well, it’s quite scenic with its stunning overlooks and expansive panoramas to take in. You’ll also be pretty close to Canyonlands, Arches, and Mesa Verde National Parks, among others.
