Cabin has one Queen bed and a fold out cot under the bed. Max capacity 2 adults and 2 children. What makes this cabin cool? Well, it is a retired DNR fire watch cabin! The cabin is as original as can be! Equipped with battery operated and solar lights along with propane heat! Porta potty right next to it for your use! There is a full bathroom and amenities to include fridge, microwave, coffee pot and air fryer just a short walk away! Winter sports galore up here right now! Cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ample parking for snow mobile trailers! OR bring your favorite book and come enjoy a peaceful restful weekend! Springtime is a gorgeous time of year up here and turkey season is a favorite! Ample room for boats/trailers if you are considering hitting Drano lake for some springer salmon fishing! It is apx 30 minutes away. In the summertime come up and enjoy the hiking! Sleeping Beauty trail is just a few minutes away and you are within 30 minutes or Hood River if you are looking to explore and check out wineries. There are cheese caves, ice caves, Goose Lake, Council Lake and so much more! Fall is one of my favorite seasons! Hood River fishery has been amazing and the fall colors can't be beat! There is a fire pit and campfires are welcome when there is not a burn ban. Trout Lake Inn is a local favorite up here and check their Facebook to see what live entertainment they have coming up. Pets are welcome - please make sure they are well behaved and are kept close to the cabin. I do have my own friendly dogs (Ruby and Muskett) on the property, but they do not have access to the cabin area. Come enjoy the mountain air - it is good for the soul! **No parties - limit of 2 adult guests and up to 2 children. No illegal drugs. Waterfall Sanctuary is a hidden gem on 17 acres, bordered on two sides by the Gifford Pinchot N F. In the heart of the Columbia River Gorge just outside Carson, Washington, Waterfall Sanctuary is home to a mini-farm with goats, ducks, and chickens. Deer and elk walk through the property on a fairly regular basis depending on the season, it's less than a mile walk (or short drive) to the Wind River and a swimming hole, and a short distance further is the Pacific Crest Trail. A 20-minute drive and you're at the Columbia River. An hour to the West is Portland if you are in the mood for some city life, and 40 minutes east is Hood River, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is home t shops, local restaurants, and access to the Columbia River. Also in close proximity are amazing waterfalls. National Forest roads are close by and well maintained. No matter the season there is something to do a short distance from the property. Keep in mind that the property is very rugged except for the trails we have provided to access other parts of the property. We are as off grid and sustainable as possible- no electricity or running water is available, we provide battery or solar operated lighting, and a container of water for each spot.

Nature's Paradise! This property is divided into 2 different sections. Lower property has 2 sites with easy access and full hookups and great views of Mt. Rainier with a large pasture and trees that surround the area to provide privacy. Upper property is one large leveled space with lots of privacy that backs up to the forest with incredible views. SO many trails and places to explore in this area. Conveniently centered between the Nisqually Mt Rainier National Park entrance (15 mins) and the town of Morton (15 mins) for major restaurants and shopping. Mineral Lake is just a mile or so down the road for all your water sporting activities. You can rent kayaks and boats there. Morton has a Thriftway grocery store (the largest grocery store in all the surrounding Mt Rainier towns) as well as a variety of restaurants, a brew pub with an amazing wood fired pizza truck and various other amenities.

This place was went meant to be shared in his vision, so thats what I'm doing with it.The setup is simple, we are a property on the Carbon River with nearly 800ft of river front access. The levee runs along the length of the property creating continuous camping availability. Please honor the property and adopt the LEAVE NO TRACE habits~ if possible please leave it better than you found it. We're a casual family friendly environment. Relax at the River

We have a 1/2 acre property on the Cowlitz River in the middle of Cooks Ferry Park in Castle Rock WA. We bought the property to relax in a beautiful setting close to home. We only live 15 minutes away. The property is made up of dredge spoils from when Mt. Saint Helens blew and is inside of a park where people can go to fish and enjoy the river. There are only 8 lots privately owned and we are the first lot that you come to. There is plenty of room for an RV. Guests can also tent camp or stay in our shack that has a sleeper sofa. There are snacks, a sign in book, an axe, briquets, a fire extinguisher, and other items the shack. There is a picnic table, fire pit, BBQ, and wood stove. There is a porta potty on the property. We keep our travel trailer there to enjoy when we can. We will try our best to not be there when you are staying at the property but if you book less than 1 week in advance, we may be there. In summer, we may be kayaking. We put in upriver and get out at the property. If that is a problem, please message me before you book. If you continue going past our property, there are some nice rock beaches with pretty views. People fish there and wade in the water in the summer. Castle Rock is a cute little town with some nice shops, restaurants and bars. I recommend checking it out! We are not picky about check in/check out time. It would only matter if someone else was checking in the day you are checking out. Please ask if you expect to arrive earlier or want to check out later. If your plans change, please cancel through Hipcamp to get a refund.

A place for rejuvenation and inspiration. The yurt began as a rustic structure utilizing lumber from trees selectively harvested to protect the health of the forest. But, the more Roy worked on the Yurt the more it spoke to him letting him know how to proceed and what it should become -- resulting in this phenomenally peaceful and stress-free wilderness sanctuary where the sun, the moon and the stars wink at you through the gentle undulations of the 100-year-old Douglas Firs Trees or through the ambient ether of the adjoining meadows. Our property is located 1hr and 30 minutes from Mt Hood in Oregon. We are located in White Salmon, Washington. There are enough things to do in White Salmon, including hiking trails, biking trails, white water rafting, waterfalls, and paddling spots to keep you entertained for a weekend, week, or lifetime! NOTE: While we do accept Instant Bookings for both our Tree House and Yurt there may very rarely be a conflict with a booking received earlier from another site when the HipCamp calendar has not been updated to reflect that booking. There is a full game room for your enjoyment and free wifi. Both sites are full RV sites with 50 amp, water, sewer. We have 42' RV available for rental as well that is across from the site, there may be tenants staying there during your stay. We are the doorstep to Mt. Rainier and all of its' glory. Less than an hours drive from Crystal Mountain Resort. Located at the top of Carbon Canyon we have endless trails for hiking, horse riding, and motor sports. Feel free to bring your toys and you can drive right off the property. You will be staying in a rural area next to horses, goats, pigs, chickens. A little about Orting - Nestled in the foothills of Mt Rainier between the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers, Orting is a quaint Turn-of-the-Century village that you will not forget. The town center is anchored by three parks filled with giant maples and evergreens. You will be awed by the view of Mt. Rainier from Washington Avenue. The levees on the east and west sides of town are perfect for hikes along the rivers. The 20 mile Foothills Trail meanders right through the middle of town and then takes you along the Carbon River levee. Bike, walk, take the stroller and the family pet. Enjoy the turn-of-the-century architecture of downtown and eat at one of the 15 restaurants. If your timing is right you can take part in the Daffodil festival and parade the first Saturday of April. The Kingsmen Car show comes to town the third Saturday in June. Then there is the Pumpkin festival the second weekend of October. Finally the year is capped off with the Christmas festival throughout December. Then there are the many foot and bike races that take place on the foothills trail throughout the year.

A beautiful campground with clean vault toilet and potable water. There is path from our campsite that join the bigger loop around the campground and access to the river. We were there after the July 4th holiday so it was quiet. We chose this campground as a base to explore the East side of Mount St Helens. It takes about an hour to reach the hiking trails and viewpoints for St Helens. Highly recommended.

Great campground with lots of privacy. It is somewhat primitive, with only vault toilets and no electricity or hookups, but the grounds are well maintained and each campsite has a fire ring. We really enjoyed our long weekend here. The hiking loop around the campground and along the river was enjoyable and easy enough for kiddos. There are some beautiful old growth trees to be seen, and the river is gorgeous.
