Little over an hour from Canberra and three from Sydney, you can enjoy large campsites right on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River. Swimming, floating down rapids, fishing, bike riding, and hiking! So many activities to keep you entertained or just sit back and listen to the rapids from the front of your tent. We are pet friendly, bring your four-legged family members with you - they'll love it just as much as you! We also have secure yards with water for horses, with plenty of walking and riding trails on the farm, you'll have an unforgettable time! Please note, no mobile reception at sites. You will receive a notification 2 days before arrival with the gate code, please note this down as you will not be able to access the Hipcamp app on site (due to no mobile reception). All campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste with you when you leave.

Hi campers, Nestled among the hills on Old Man Gunyah Creek, this 1400 acre property is owned &and run by John & Jen. It's a sheep farm running 1600 sheep producing fine wool and fat lambs. Plenty of room to move, walk the hills, catch a fish, or just sit by the camp fire & watch the stars. Bring your motor home, caravan, camper, tent or swag, the choice is yours. The shearing shed has a fully equipped kitchen & plenty of fresh rain water. You are welcome to roll out your swag in the shearing shed if you prefer. Controlled dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash at all times. There is no mobile service or Wi-Fi. We are 50 kms from a corner store/service station, so don't leave yourselves short. There are toilets scattered around the property, but no shower available.

Wyangala Dam and village are nearby with access to watersports, fishing and nature walks. Elliot's Lookout is a scenic spot with fantastic views of the dam and back waters. The Cowra township is 20 minutes drive and worth a visit for all your supplies. REVELSTONE MOUNTAIN offers camping with fantastic views. Plenty of space to go for a scenic hike, find spring fed dams for yabbie fishing or a quick dip in the water hole in Springvale Creek that runs through the property, lots of wildlife including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes. There are 8 designated camping areas to set up your camp. Enjoy an evening by the campfire some firewood available if you forage or bring your own however please do not cut down or use any standing trees even if they look dead as they add a nice feature to the property. This campsite is suited for campers who are self-contained, with own camping toilet/shower amenities and water supply. Pets on leashes welcome (we have lots of stock wandering about). This is a fully fenced farm all gates that are closed must be closed after entry plenty of privacy, there are over 6 k of 4 wheel drive tracks with amazing rock formations and features all through the property .Each campsite is your own private space and no neighbours. have 200 acres which incorporates rocky mountain and paddocks. There is a walking track around the paddocks or you can bush walk the bush track. We also back on to the Dananbilla national park which is 35 square kilometres. A running spring fed creek with yabbies and watercress and small water hole in creek for a dip with small water fall. We back on to 35 square kms of national park called Dananbilla. You can see kangaroos, wallaby, wombat and if lucky akidna , goanna , lace monitor and many varieties of birds. Great cell phone service with optus and telstra but not Vodafone. Can charge your phone ,just bring your lead and power plug. Plenty of firewood for your stay from fallen dead branches. The mountain has the origional trig station for the area on top from early 1800s with beautifull views. We cater for all size vehicles. Come and camp on the banks of a creek, where the bushranger Ben Hall used to camp with his horses in the mid 1800s! The property is located smack bang in the middle of Young, Forbes, West Wylong and Cowra - taking about an hour to drive to each. The is plenty to do and see in the area, including exploring the nearby Weddin Mountains National Park and Bimbi State Forest. Just 20 minute North is the quaint town of Grenfell. Tucked into the beautiful Lachlan Valley, Grenfell is a fascinating gold rush town with great galleries, historic buildings and superb country pubs. There are also many events celebrating the town’s rich history and culture. Campers will enjoy flat, grassy sites on this 15 acre block. The creek is suitable for swimming, fishing, gabbling and paddling, and is quite wide in spots. This campsite suits self contained campers, who bring their own facilities and leave no trace. The access is via a dirt road (easy drive). You're welcome to bring your dog.

Modern, self-contained, pool house, and working sheep/cattle property in a peaceful country setting, 20 minutes from Yass. Great water views overlooking Murrumbidgee River and exclusive use of swimming pool. Break your trip with your four-legged friend/s, or stay a few days and relax in our clean country's fresh air. See the stars, and hear the silence. The space consists of a queen-sized bed with 100% cotton white line-dried sheets, and a modern ensuite bathroom. A sitting area with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and stove. The cooking space is quite small and best for fairly basic food preparation. Also included is a TV. (32" flat screen) and a DVD player. We are very pleased to announce that we have just installed reverse cycle heating and air conditioning for your added comfort. There are ceiling fans if required. A 'Tastic' heater is in the bathroom for extra comfort. Enjoy exclusive use of our 10m swimming pool, BBQ, and deck. We will take children, over 5 years old, who are able to swim, but would insist that parents supervise at all times. A fold-up bed is available as an extra bed, and the charge for extras per night is $30.00, to cover costs with extra laundry, cleaning etc. You will find some up-to-date magazines to relax with while here, DVDs, and complimentary chocolate. The nearest shop/food outlet is in Yass, so I advise guests to bring dinner with them or to book a home-cooked meal to be served in the BnB. Our guests have exclusive use of the swimming pool and deck with elevated views of the surrounding spectacular scenery. Feel free to wander around the garden. We endeavour to keep the pool sparkling, but cannot always guarantee perfection. No diving please, for your own safety. A BBQ is available for use on the deck. Other things to note Continental breakfast is included, and if you require an evening meal, I can provide a two-course dinner for $40/person.. Please give advance notice if this is required, preferably when booking. We are a pet-friendly B&B, and welcome your pets but expect them to be clean and obedient. We charge $10 extra for one dog/night and $15/night for two dogs/night. We ask that you provide your pets with bedding and food bowls, and they are not allowed on the bed or sofa under any circumstances. Please don't go out and leave your pets behind, unless under very special circumstances and we have been asked first.
