    Briagolong Bush Getaways is 40 acres of peaceful bush land. Many, many moons ago the property use to be a tobacco farm. The original house use to be at the top camp site but was burnt down in the 1960's. A small cottage was then built and lived in for the next 10 years, while the original owner made mud bricks by hand and built the house, that is currently our home. All built by hand more than 42 years ago! Here, you have several fantastic camp areas to choose from, some with access to amenities, some for self-contained campers. We've also recently started offering the mudbrick house for rent! A great option for a warmer stay in the Victorian winter, or if you are a large group and some want to camp whereas others want more comfort.

    RiverOak is located on the bank of the Thomson River in Heyfield, Gippsland. RiverOak is an exclusive group camping ground. This means we only book to one group at a time and you will have the whole place to yourselves. We can accommodate up to 40 overnight guests in total and can fit 8 caravans at once. You book and pay for the site regardless of your groups size (max 40). We have river frontage suitable for swimming and fishing, two toilets, two hot water showers, campfire pits, play equipment for kids, walk to town, tree swing. The property has a beautiful big oak tree that will make you feel like you're somewhere magical. We are less than 1 kilometre to town. Fish in the river, relax under the tree, end your day with a nice hot shower and enjoy time with your family and friends. You also get phone reception. If you wish to bring a dog please let us know and we can discuss. You will love your stay here. Please note there is a 3 night min stay on long weekend.     Manifest Retreats is a glamping experience perfect for a couples getaway or girls retreat. All accommodation provided is in restored vintage caravans that are such vibe, perfect for snapping some great insta memories. The caravans are hidden within a 216-acre parcel of land completely covered in mature beautiful trees. The caravans are close to each other, so if there are other families or couples using the space you will be quite close. For an additional fee, you can hire the entire 216 acres for complete privacy and seclusion. All vans have use of a communal campfire and outdoor kitchen. His and her bathrooms are currently being built so a port-a-potty is set up available for use. There are 5 vans on site with a maximum of 3 adults per van. Whilst it may feel remote and hidden, you are only a 10 minute drive to the town of Yarram. If you do need some essentials or another bottle of wine, shops are only a short drive away. If you're after a change of scenery, Tarra Bulga National Park is only 20 minutes by car. Known for their Mountain Ash trees, beautiful fern gullies and ancient myrtle beeches, it has some of the best examples of original cool temperate rainforests of the Strzelecki Ranges. If you've always wanted to swim in a waterfall then Minnehaha Falls at Hiawatha is for you. Only 15 minutes by car, the rocky waterfall with it's very own swimming hole will surprise and delight. There is a constant flow of water gushing down the near vertical rock face, into the pool below.

Mt Alfred is a fantastic forest with many great tracks to explore on horse back, mountain bike or on foot. Horses and dogs are welcome. There is plenty of space on a large, grassy flat area for camping and parking. There are paddocks for horses and a guide is available. The farm and surrounding bush is an Owl habitat and the property has an amazing abundance of bird life. It is just 25 minutes from Bairnsdale and the Gippsland lakes where you can explore the beautiful beaches and walking tracks. There are shops available for basic supplies within 10 minutes. We have a fire pit for you to light a campfire. There is a drop toilet and shower. Please take all rubbish with you on departure.

There is plenty of space in the land surrounding the shed for caravans, tents, and everything in between. This area is bookable to one group at a time with a minimum of 10 adults, so it's all yours exclusively. 2-night minimum stay. Children under 2yrs stay free. No need to add them to your booking numbers, but please still let us know they are coming so we are aware. We are not far from the Blue Pools, a loved local waterhole, The Quarries near Briagolong - makes for a lovely day trip! we have some local wineries, Maffco Brewery Taphouse in maffra. The property is near to beautiful bushland, speckled with walking and horse riding tracks, and you'll enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets from camp. So plenty to do! The property is conveniently located within close proximity to Welshpool, Agnes falls, National parks, numerous rivers and a State forest.
