Crossroads

12 sites · RVs, Tents120 acres · Kulikup, WA
Our 120 acres of hobby farm has about 40 acres cleared with the remaining still natural scrub and bush land. Our homestead and sheds are totally off grid being solar with battery backup and rain water tanks. We run a small flock of sheep with the obligatory goat thrown in for good measure and crop the cleared land to feed the stock through summer. A dam is situated in the bottom bush corner and another one has recently been built in one of the cropping paddocks. Depending on fire restrictions, quads and bikes can be ridden providing it’s with respect for stock, land and other campers and at your own risk. Dogs are welcome (and off leash) providing they are sociable, kept under control, don’t worry the stock and aren’t a nuisance to others. Current vaccinations and worming is required to help protect local farming, stock and working dogs. Introductions to our farm Kelpies is a responsible start as our kelpies have free range over our whole property. The Blackwood River is a 15 minute drive where you can swim, canoe and waterski. Our property has a huge variety of birds, wildflowers and we even have Phascogales if you’re lucky enough to see one. Please note the nearest shops are 50km away but if you do forget something we will more than likely be able to help out. The quiet, the stars, the sunrises and sunsets will leave you wanting to return to our piece of paradise

Camp Qualinup

8 sites · RVs, Tents2000 acres · Bremer Bay, WA
Due to extensive property roadworks and improvements to the Camp area coupled with our second drier than average year as well as the interest of safety to provide a peaceful stay we have now closed until next financial year which means no bookings available until July 2025, however we will keep this message up dated as the work progresses. Thank you. Qualinup is an old location which was originally used for summer grazing for sheep farmers near Borden who walk the sheep down the 100kms for summer because of the constant water supply and feed available. Qualinup's meaning is place of Emu and the farm is located on the eastern side of the old dog proof fence and still has a pristine wetland. Numerous owners over the years have tried different farming practises, however since 1993 the farm has been following organic sustainable practises, currently grazing Boer goats which we originally introduced for weed control. Over the years since 1993 the farm has produced certified seed potatoes, cut flowers, a trial wine grape vineyard, run outside coloured pigs to name a few enterprises however the vast underground water supply from limestone lends the farm to intensive agriculture, especially given its close proximity to the coast with the southern ocean limiting frost damage. With considerably less rainfall they Perth and some amazing clear warm days without wind, winter camping around the fire definitely possible. The property backs on to Reef Beach for some great fishing or 4x4 activities, the property has a private network of 4x4 tracks for your use as well but only for licensed vehicles. Bremer Bay is 30kms away via the sealed main road which opens up to a host of activities.

Farm caravan camping in Western Australia with electricity hookup and water hookup guide

Overview

Hemmed in by beaches and turquoise waters, Western Australia is known for its coast, but the sprawling state has much more to offer. Venture inland to see deserts dotted with ancient monoliths and sun-baked vineyards; discover 19th-century gold rush towns; or hike through red rock gorges. Spring and fall bring the best weather for wine tasting or hiking through the national parks, while the summer heat is best enjoyed on the beach. Winter temperatures are still balmy enough to explore outdoors, with wildflowers blooming along the coast.

Perth

Perched along the Swan River and blessed with year-round sunshine, Perth brings the good life. In the city, wine tasting cruises, riverside barbecues, and parks will keep you outdoors, while the neighboring port town of Fremantle serves up beaches and ocean-fresh seafood. Holiday parks and camping sites dot the surrounding countryside, providing easy access for campers and caravans.

Coral Coast

The Coral Coast stretches north of Perth, from Kalbarri and Shark Bay to Coral Bay and Exmouth. Sand melts into turquoise waters; bands of coral teem with tropical fish, manta rays, and whale sharks; and Cape Range National Park’s rocky gorges snake down to the ocean. Outdoor adventures abound, from snorkeling and kayaking the Ningaloo Reef to bushwalking and beach camping.

Golden Outback

From Esperance on the south coast all the way up to Newman, the Golden Outback rolls out white-sand beaches, kaleidoscopic salt lakes, and rocky canyons. Whether off-roading in a four-wheel drive or winding through the outback in a caravan, there are ample opportunities for road tripping, with camping sites and holiday parks dotted throughout. Along the way, dive into Aussie’s gold rush heritage in Kalgoorlie and the Goldfields, walk Lucky Bay, and keep an eye out for wildflowers.

Margaret River

Rolling headlands, sloping vineyards, and seaside towns provide the perfect backdrop for wine tasting and coastal walks in the Margaret River region. Albany, Bunbury, and Bussleton are among the most popular places to stay, with access to the region’s many beaches, wineries, and camping spots.

North West

Dusty red desert tracks wind their way through the Kimberley region to Broome and Kununurra, where the vast outback is home to otherworldly scenery and rich Aboriginal heritage. Get a taste of Australia’s wild west out here—drive the Gibbs River Road, stopping to hike through ancient gorges, swim in remote waterholes, and enjoy campfires under the stars.
