    This is a rustic campsite without facilities or electricity. This property borders the South Charlotte River. It is in a very private location. You can drive into the camping areas. We are located 12 miles south of Sault Ste Marie 1/3 mile west of M-129 on 12 Mile Road. The property is good for either tent camping or a parking place for RVs. There is a new driveway that leads to the camping or parking areas. You can drive on the grass to get to the various campsites. The closest spot is 200 ft from the road. You can set up anywhere in the cut grass area. There will be two white chairs and a garbage can. A small camp porta potty is available for your use. There is a cut grass walking trail that forms a loop on the property.Tent campers can park in a large grassy wooded area 50 to 100 yards from the driveway. RV campers can pull into a flat grass covered space. There is plenty of room to turn around. Tent campers can choose from spots in an area near the parking. This is a very secluded spot and we only have one site rented at a time for complete privacy. There is room for group camping if needed. The South Charlotte River borders the property. The Sault Ste Marie area has a lot of history with two Great Lakes, the St Marys River and the Soo Locks. Whitefish Point and the Tahquamenon Falls are a 90 minute drive from here.

    Great location. I felt like I was deep in the woods. Quiet and secluded yet I had no problem getting my travel trailer in there. It was exactly what I was looking for.

    Beautiful UP land

    Dale’s land was exactly what I was looking for, beautiful meadow and trees, it was so quiet and the firewood was super dry! Dale was very friendly and it was easy to book and everything went as expected. I would definitely stay here again

    Perfect Boondock Site off I75

    Dale was a very good host. He met us promptly and showed us the site as well as gave us some local highlights we could check out while in the area. Very nice guy. The site was tucked away in trees right off a country road- very private. A perfect place to boondock and restock your RV as it was not far from Interstate 75 with grocery stores and restaurants within a 15 minute drive.

    Primitive site near Sault Ste Marie

    Dale was a gracious host. He a waiting for us at the road when we arrived. We had good communication through the app. His site was primative, with a trash bin and fire ring as promised. The rural location was quiet; the proximity to Sault Ste. Marie was perfect for a restful stop while journeying through UP Michigan.
