Abstobys Retreat
We enjoyed our stay, we were looking for somewhere close to Nelson Bay so we could explore, Louise was very welcoming and kind, we were camped near the toilet/shower and common area (kettle, microwave, campfire, power points ect.)
Everything was great, clean and easily accessible. We would definitely stay again and for a few days! Lovely spot.

Abstobys Retreat
A peaceful spot with some lovely water views over the mangrove. Easy access, dog friendly, fish jumping in the creek. Spotlessly clean shower and toilet facility. Had a lovely fire going. Not far from Nelson Bay and surrounding beaches. Ideal place to stay, away from the tourist parks. We took a 20ft off road caravan no problem siting it.

Abstobys Retreat
Louise has a nice bit of land which is bounded by some lovely mangroves. You can hear a variety of native birdsong in the morning. There is a cute shed with a toilet, sink and a lovely warm shower. There’s also a sink for washing up. We didn’t have much privacy (the more private spots by the trees were taken up by caravans and large tent setups and we had a small hiking tent in a more open area) but if you don’t mind that, it’s a good stay for a good price.

A special weekend in our new caravan, thanks to Louise's kindness. Prompt replies to communication, great directions, warm welcome, very clean and bright toilet/shower, 3 camping spots. Are grateful to our fellow campers who were considerate of each other. Anna Bay and Boat Harbour 10-15 minutes away for a few hours of sun & sea. Highly recommend pit stop at avo farm on route!
