Amazing views
Hipcampers say this spot has amazing views.
116 acres it feels like in the middle of nowhere but less than 10 minutes out of the small town of Beechwood and 20 minutes from the larger town of Wauchope. On a Ridge line with amazing 360deg views. You can see forever. Quiet , fresh air, very secluded, Pipe Clay creek runs through the property. Has a toilet and camp kitchen. Has a rustic shelter and caravanBago Bungalow is a small cabin with a wood fireplace. Inside there is no insulation. It has a window and a glass sliding door. There is no power or running water inside this space. Bago Bungalow will fit the person who wants to bring their own sleeping bag and mat. This space is beautiful in winter as the little fireplace will keep the cabin toasty. There is the communal kitchen and bathroom attached where you have running water (not recommended for drinking so BYO drinking water). There are some beautiful walks on the property which will not disappoint with all the views of the Pappinbarra Valley, the Brombin Valley and views of Bago Bluff.

Great spot for a few days away. Amazing views. Private camping area and all the amenities you require with the exception of a shower. Absolutely loved it.

This place is beautiful, we had the whole camp to ourselves. It would be difficult in the wet and wouldn’t reccomend 2nd if the weather was bad. But the views were outstanding and the camp is beautiful.

The photos don’t do this place justice. Stunning views and a great place to sit back and enjoy a fire and a cold beer. Toilet setup is good and the camp sink is a handy bonus. There’s also an undercover area is there’s rain about.

The views from this property are absolutely breathtakingly stunning! especially from where the newer tiny cabin is situated, which unfortunately isn’t hooked up to water although it has a mini shower and sink in it, neither are usable. Take a fan as I don’t think either cabin has electricity or aircon. The older cabin was too rough for us to stay in containing just an old dusty sofa and tiny pot belly fire. You’re better off camping, but give the owner plenty of notice so they have time to slash the grass. We booked last minute after a week of heavy rains so the grass was a bit too long to camp. This property could be truly amazing with some spit and polish and a woman’s touch. Note: Google maps takes you miles off course to a Neighbor’s property and the directions on the website are also inaccurate, taking you up a one way 4WD track that leads to another Neighbor’s property where you have to turn around before heading back. We made the mistake of not taking a photograph of the correct instructions sent directly to us by the owner and were then unable to access them due to no internet signal being available. As a consequence we went many wrong ways, got totally lost and ended up getting bogged.
