Beautiful secluded space, owners were lovely & their cute little Jack Russell’s were very friendly.
Nice spot to have a campfire on the river bank & plenty of spots to go fishing.
Seen kangaroos, emus, goats & birds!
This is a great spot for a group who like freshwater swimming, wildlife, and serenity.
4WD is required if the group size is more than 3 vehicles as 2WD parking locations are limited. But what a location..
Such a beautiful spot! Plenty of wildlife and peace and quiet. The river was perfect for a dip through the heat of the day. Thankyou Lee and Adrien for your hospitality. Will definitely be returning.
We loved camping at Rockytop. It’s a beautiful place with lovely views of the Macquarie River and surrounding hills. Our campsite was private and spacious. The hosts, Lee and Adrian, are lovely people too!
We had a wonderful stay overall! The river was teeming with fish, and it was a beautiful spot for swimming. The only suggestion we have is that clearing some of the scrub areas could help with snake safety and make it easier for those with caravans. It would also be helpful if guests were informed about the best camping spots. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
