Located near Young, this campsite is set on grassy undulating land. This is a working farm. You will need to be a self-contained camper with own camping toilet/shower, drinking water and supplies. There are rubbish facilities available for guests. Enjoy the crisp air and relax by the campfire at night. Known as the Hilltop region, the township of Young and surrounds are full of rolling hills, farmlands and bush. If you visit in spring you'll be able to see fields full of bright yellow canola flowers as far as the eye can see. Bring your camera! In December Young celebrates the National Cherry Festival, where you will find live music, a parade, fireworks and of course lots and lots of freshly picked, plump cherries. The region also has many vineyards and food providores as well as museums and some great historical sites. Our property is located a short distance out of town for all your shopping needs. We loved staying at Mary’s place. Just us and the animals, it was so peaceful & serene. We really enjoyed laughing at the geese, peacock & peahens. The horses and the goat were friendly too. A very relaxing getaway, highly recommend it.
