    Midskinrick is a 40-acre waterfront property on Baffle Creek in Queensland. 70km north of Bundaberg, 125km south of Gladstone. This little piece of paradise, on the southern bank of Baffle Creek, is a great place to fish from the bank or launch your boat, crab, swim (in our dam), relax and enjoy the peace while watching the wildlife. Choose the unique modern self-contained Lodge or bring your caravan/camper/rooftop/swag/tent and book a camp site. There are 10 large family sized powered sites with a firebox available for each site (no water connection) situated near the dam. Access to, Hot showers (Small fee applies), Flushing toilets, Washing Machine (Small fee per load) and a Camp kitchen. The powered sites are approximately 400m from the riverbank. Confirming there are no water connections to these sites, please fill your tanks prior to coming, but fresh water is available for drinking. Select Powered. In addition there are 7 large family sized unpowered sites with a firebox available for each, overlooking the river flats - Septic flushing toilets, Shower room (solar bag not supplied), Drinking water, Camp kitchen area, Firebox - bring your own wood or purchase from the owners (please do not source firewood from the roadside due to animal habitats). Hot showers are available near the dam area for a small fee. There is no option to add power here. Strictly unpowered. Bring your kayaks, stand up paddle boards and other floating devices to enjoy in the dam, Push Bikes to ride the trails, bat and ball for a friendly game of cricket and a banana lounge to enjoy the peace and quiet. Boat Ramp, Small bank area for fishing, 5klm from the ocean mouth, Fires permitted (in fireboxes only), Pet friendly (strictly on leash or in enclosure), great swimming (in the dam), Pushbike riding enjoyed, a perfect family holiday!

    Riverside Campsite - Unpowered
    Absolutely beautiful! Really peaceful and quiet, there were kangaroos all around which was amazing. Facilities were great, really nice cooking area and BBQ! It is by a river so definitely take some mosquito/sandfly spray with you. Great location surrounded by some beautiful beaches, but honestly most of the time we just wanted to stay at the creek and enjoy it. Everyone working there was so welcoming and friendly and really went out of their way!

    Excellent place! We were only there for one night however the grounds were nice and flat and amenities were adequate. Nice river to do some fishing and boating. The hosts were lovely and very accomodating. Would definitely come back!

    Riverside Campsite - Unpowered
    Greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. Very helpful on the services available. Great location for pets and family. Multiple showers & toilets located close to you. Lots of kangaroo’s & Ducks, very scenic of an afternoon. They have a boat hire for the day, dam to swim in just in front of the powered sites. Affordable powered sites, we will definitely be back to stay longer. Highly recommend this spot for your next camp trip.

    You need to put this place on your bucket list. Graham, Lyn and Tony are great hosts and easy to get along with. Midskinrick camping is very peaceful great fishing and crabbing. Great place for big rigs and roof topers. We will be back. Glenn Gayle Lahey.
