Picturesque
Water pressure could be improved in the showers. For motor homes and campervans especially roads and campsites could be graded much better. More space needed for individual campsites. On the positive side the food was good at the restaurant and service from reception and other staff was great. As well, the location is very picturesque.

Gums Area (Unpowered & Undesignated)
Reception staff are super friendly & helpful for the duration of the stay. Coffee available at the cafe every morning, bar staff friendly, live music on some nights near the cafe (you can’t hear from campsite area unless close to cafe.) lots of awesome wildlife to see, clean with good amenities, tinnie/kayak rental available from reception with guidance for exploring Everglades.
Dispersed camping is busy on school holidays, arrive early to secure a spot.

Mays Grove Site (Unpowered)
Great Spot
We love Habitat, bushwalking, water sports, eco tours, brewery, wildlife, and campfire, what more do you need..
Awesome unpowered site a bit of a walk to facilities but plenty of room to spread out.
Some shade but with enough sun for the Solar panels.
They were renovating the bathrooms when we were there.

Internet, hot showers, wifi, bar and restaurant all available. Kitchen is awesome however bring your own equipment etc. Amazing view of the lake and some kangaroos to boot. Shame we arrived just before sundown, plenty of nature to explore.
