Helenvale Farm offers sites for self-contained campers with their own toilet at $ 30.00/night per van. Helenvale Farm is located directly next door to the historic Lion’s Den Hotel where you can indulge in food and beverages 7 days a week and is in easy walking distance from all the campsites. The Little Annan River that boarders Helenvale Farm flows all year around and within walking distance from the campsites. There are multiple campsites available at Helenvale Farm including:  Sunny sites for those requiring solar power.  River views from river frontage sites.  Wide open spaces with plenty of room for big rigs.  Semi-shaded, tree lined campsites that offer either secluded, or family sized areas.  Good wifi coverage if you have your own wifi.  Boar water is available on request. There is array of other sights and activities to indulge in while staying at Helenvale Farm including:  Watching the lambs and sheep grazing and playing.  Go fishing in the river.  Campfires with plenty of wood for free.  Nature walks with an abundance of bird, fauna and wildlife.  Star gazing, sunrises and sunsets.  Or you can just relax on the sandy riverside beaches. Should you wish to venture out of Helenvale Farm there are numerous places to visit including:  Black Mountain National Park and Cedar Bay National Park.  Trevathan, Home Rule and Wujal Wujal Falls.  Historic Cooktown, Bloomsfield or Cape Tribulation. Great spot right next door to the lions den hotel. Stacks of room with privacy. Plenty of firewood laying, too. Hosts were very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with.

Wonderful stay at Helenvale Farm. Cracking location, nice and quiet near the river and surrounding farmland, and close to the Lions Den for a beer. Charlie was a welcoming and friendly host. Perfect night for us.
